Thank you for the video! I have a question -what if I want to apply the force not on the surface but on the line, but not the edge line. How this can be achieved? How to add the force application line to the model?
Thank you sir, I am very grateful for what I am learning from you. just a question about the yield strength. shouldn't it be that its red arrow goes up by applying less force? you know because it is showing the maximum acceptable yield strength and at the best it should exceed the highest applied stress.
Also about the factor of safety. Should we compare it to for example 1.5 or there some other way to check it?

Hi this is a really powerfull tool, I'm interested in simple flexure design and I would like to know if it possible to introduce the young modulus into solidwork to verify is your displacement won't go over the elastic range of a specific material on a specific hardness?
The materia information you can find in Metals hand book in ASTM standard dealing. Check the SOLIDWORKS value. But after make the fem simulation build the prototype validate real. Noting will be proved til you validate your project. Becarfull this is the most common engineer mistake
So non linear and linear dynamic study only available in premium version right?

Why is the mesh on the top face, mid way and to the back of the metal not even as it is in other areas, what has distorted the mesh. I don't mean near the holes, the mid way rear section....(on the left when facing the part that is bending)

Good video, but I can tell you are not a structural engineer! Strain does not have a unit! There is no 'mm' or other unit for strain, it's just a dimensionless figure!!
Please clear your concept first then make videos....Though it's helpful for understanding how software works
