If you are still looking for a cozy book about nothing, I highly recommend Frostlight by Danielle Bullen. I read it this past winter and I loved it. There are a lot of typos but it didn’t bother me.
I've been meaning to read that one ever since you raved about it. I WILL get my hands on it soon!

The series has to be complete for me. I read my series books all at once, like one long, big book. I forget too many details otherwise.
Edit: Just finishing The Inheritance Games Trilogy.

I thought Lightfall was only going to be a trilogy, but maybe I'm wrong.
Speak is such a good story, but yes, it's very hard hitting. That was the hard part when you were talking about unhauling it: I wanted to say, no, at least give it a chance first because... but didn't want to spoil it either.
I have got to start reading Morgan L. Busse's books 🫣
Have you read Lightfall book three? I don't think it's just a trilogy. It didn't seem concluded to me at least.
@ChantelReadsAllDay I haven't read the third one, but before it came out I was under the impression that it would be a trilogy. But maybe I read it wrong or he changed his mind.
