It is evidently clear, Coach, that you pour everything into this club, NC, and the development of women's soccer as a whole. You certainly have my gratitude.

I'm really excited for the Monterrey game, already freed up the day after to make sure there's no issues with it being a Wednesday night. Part of that was due to the partnership with the teams and Pinto/Bova going there to train during preseason. Then when their finals was going on I tuned in to watch them against Club America. I have a friend in Mexico who despises Club America and we were talking before the game how they had a chance to win the title in both the mens and womens leagues, so well done to the Rayadas for fighting back and pushing it to penalties. To win against teams like Club America or Tigres who have some really big name players was great and I love that underdog story. Now we get to see how they match up against our players and it should be a really fun match from the effort I saw from them and what I know our players will bring.
I agree about the formatting how it sucks that if you win the group you can still miss out on the next rounds. It doesn't make much sense because if you get pair with equally strong teams then sharing points around could cause the potentially best team of the tournament from not making it out of groups. I think someone needs to look over this in the future and even if there are byes or something we can't have a group get no one out of it.
