  • In light of everything thats been going on with destiny 2 and Bundgie, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the future of D2. I believe this will not be the end and we should not let fear get the best of us. I love this franchise and I'm sure things will turn out for the best. This is all just my opinion at the end of the day but I'm optimistic.
Enjoy and hope you had a great day today :)

No matter what happens to this game I will never forget the memories I made. The sudden clutches in a mission. The unbelievable pvp plays. And the moments with friends where I couldn’t stop laughing. It could be gone but till then I will keep playing till the end.

Its cute to watch the destiny 2 community go through the same issues the destiny 1 community did and not seeing any of it coming.

@@TRAXUS-IV then destiny should have been boycotted. The people who stuck around allowed bungie to be lazy. 2017 was the end for me. I feel confident to this day i was right. Seasonal content was a joke compared to what destiny 1 was like by year 2

If Bungie acted like a developer worth supporting, I would support them. They largely treat their players and staff like trash though, unfortunately. How hard is it to make changes to a game you created? That is their job and they just kept serving up steaming piles of bad and mid. Most players just wanted innovation and depth, but we got recycled ideas and guns for most of the time.

I played Destiny 2 since 2019. I was dating a gamer girl, who to this day is the only girl i actually remember or think about. Shes like my Envy Adams. The perfect girl who got away. Even if i was the one to walk away. At the time i had found this game and noticed how Halo like it was. I had her join me but it didnt stick for her. I however went 110% with it. I got EVERY DLC, before they were free. except the dogshit ones that were free by that point. the first two with osiris and ana bray. I personally loved them but now, in retrospect, i can see how they were subpar. Anyhow. i love this game. it means the world to me. i could never just ditch it. but ive walked away for months time and time again, waiting for DLC. and this...
It hits. ive actively participated with the community. the Facebook groups, the youtubers, the Reddit theories and speculation. And the memory of the early days. grinding on IO. Season of Arrivals. The lead up to the Darkness and Witness. the personal stances between the Winnow debate. The philosophy i gained from the stories and concepts in the game.
In my lifetime, i learned a secret above my pay grade. Of the nature of reality and existence. I became an esotericist by study. And this game all lined up with my beliefs and understanding. It actually helped me grow and try out new things. In spirituality, the Light is a big concept. Your soul, God, the Universe itself.
So to learn of Darkness. of its uses and implications, in contrast to the Light. I became someone new, through this game. I learned to wield more than i could dream of, because of just the notions this game delivered as story. This game is more to me than just a game. I could never just forget it. I could never forget any of you. I never will.

The community gave in too much. The new lights that showed up with forsaken and then swallowed the „seasonal release schedule“ were the actual problem. They showed up when the d1 community died. And picked at our guardians corpses. Represented by the specters on the moon and by the trailer guardians from the live action trailers getting killed along with their ghosts. The pre forsaken guardians were the ones that were supposed to be given bungie‘s love. Because we would have continued to pay for big, Taken King esque dlc’s and fight in public events with our new gear waiting for the next one. It should have been one large dlc once per year.

@historyandpoliticsexplaine4876 I get where you're coming from, I was guilty of wanting more tbh. But looking back ot it now, quality over quantity. Always. We'll see what happens within the next year, I don't think bungie can go lower than this..... knock on wood.

Wow, you're a small Destiny 2 creator. It's unfortunate that the platform makes it difficult to be recognized as a TH-camr. I am one myself, and I understand how challenging it can be. I do wish you the best. I just finished getting all the subclasses for my Hunter and Titan. Anyway, I hope we can see some good changes for Destiny 2. I'm glad you shared your opinion because I didn't even know the state of Destiny 2 was this bad...

Love ur content btw. You are clearly like me. A veteran of D1 that is sad that new lights showed up and demanded micro transactions so they could look like the big guardians they were not. Skill has dropped off. So many new lights with double primary set ups.

D1 gave a huge hint at the direction the franchise was heading in and you “veterans” should’ve protested then. But nope!
      D2 drops.
Should’ve did it for the 1st and 2nd DLC came. NOPE! Close though!
FORSAKEN came and you “veterans went right back to sucking bungos sack! Hahaha you get what you deserve!

I'm only at the start of the video I'm sure you're addressed this later but to say that GTA and destiny are the same is different because GTA you have to pay one time and if you want to participate I guess you could try and make your money but if you want to participate in destiny you have to pay every single time there is a DLC which amounts to about $400 at the bare minimum over the last 5 years which is not a good business model for its players

    • @Barrioss1
      @Barrioss1  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@RuthlessCarl you're right, I guess what I tried to say, was that they are both live service games, both are required to deliver content on a regular only difference is that in Destiny the demand is much much hight que it comes to quality. In gta online, you throw in 6 new cars ever 6 months and people are happy with that. But yeah you are right in what you said, but that's what I meant by being the same.

I would play Warframe if it was actually fun to play for more than 1 hour. Sadly for me, it isn't. Every hour I play Warframe, I feel every minute because it's just not engaging enough. The time of missions drag. With Destiny, I can play for an hour and it will feel like 2 minutes.
