This season so nearly got filmed. They wanted to do a close circuit concert piped to the hotel rooms. But it never got off the ground. I’m my opinion this was his best season. Totally focussed. He had learnt from the 1st season and was on top of his game. Never better!
Wow he was really pumped up that night !!! How i wish I was there to see him perform ! So jealous ! Lol no one has come close in my opinion he 's still the best entertainer ! Thank you elvis ! Rip elvis 😢 🙏 💔

Wow- this is awesome. I thought I’d seen it all. IMO Elvis’s second run in Vegas was better than the first (and much better than TTWIS) He was in prime voice and seemed laser focused from what I’ve heard. And the set list was the best of his career. I’ve always wondered why rca hasn’t put out a proper audio cd/vinyl release from that series. The ON STAGE record was nice but the material on that was the least interesting from those shows imo.

How i wish i could have seen these concerts. Baz knew to avoid this suit like the plague because Elvis is perfection in this. This suit would have revealed and betrayed everything that Austin couldnt reach,i mean exposed the shortfall even more. That said i love the movie and i think Austin is amazing and the ONLY person ever to do Elvis justice. But this Elvis at this moment in time, he had that almost shouting punk type vocal, the moves are like a well oiled machine, no one can move like this. like a wild animal. But yeah this is my favorate stage attire, no high collar not one ounce of fat Austin hasnt got the physicallity the physic the moves the look, this suit would have left Austin looking more unlike Elvis. Just like those moves in 1969 have you seen them suspicious minds for instance, absolutely incredible. Just wish these concerts could have been filmed. Anyway im not dissing Austin i think he is amazing. Just this is like totally impossible to reach. Just ask anyone who was there to see these shows they will tell you.
If this footage and audio are the same then it might not be the 26th because in Let it be me Elvis didn't add the you know part in the 26th audio. All shook up is different in the 26th show Elvis sings the whole line "My heart beats so it scares me to death." but here it seems in sync.

WOA wait hang on: they showed a live appearance of Elvis in Las Vegas in 1969 after he died? How long was that video if I may ask, and was it on TV? this video here is one I saw on TH-cam a couple of months ago and downloaded; when I saw it got removed from TH-cam I put it back on
@@stijnsmusiccorner8769 Yes, it was on tv 18th august 1977 they showed his 1969 Return to vegas.. unlike other concerts were all his shows are spliced into one concert , this 69 show was a full one hour show! Amazing! I can’t believe they haven’t shown it since!! I’ve enquired for years bout it but nothing!! He wore a white two piece suit, short collar and white sash to the side,it’s probably lost in archives…
The second season was the best of all. This is not the original sound of this footage. It would be better to keep it instead of trying to use other recordings, it's not correctly sincronized.
Poor Elvis became a slave to his talent and money and wealth, worried by what he won't do after getting out of the service. Where would ld he go musically? How many people he owed monthly on his staff, millions of worries. Music had changed, etc. ANXIETY!

First of all, this footage is the earliest footage we have of Elvis wearing a jumpsuit on stage (a very classy one as well, not yet those extreme over the top ones from 1975/1976) Secondly, this footage shows Elvis at just about his most energetic. A year after this video he was already performing in a slightly more reserved/tame manner. In this footage and at this stage of his career, Elvis is giving every song a 200% commitment. 1971 onwards he simply didn't give these songs this much power and attention anymore, and that's the truth. He was still an incredible entertainer ofcourse, but it makes this footage all the more special. Collectors and devoted fans would all agree to that.
