- Hi, welcome to my first youtube video! During the week of spring break I decided to sew a 1950's swimsuit following a Vogue 9230 reproduction pattern. I have a passion for sewing and slowly building up my vintage wardrobe. This swimsuit will be perfect for my summer handmade wardrobe. It's quite stylish so nice work which makes me look forward to more content from ya when you do these early 1900s pieces in your style cuz they just have a certain vibe that was classy and elegant that many new pieces lack. Your and your piece here show why I argue against this 90s vintage trend in fashion cuz of its ridiculous baggy messy look and argue for fashion to update pieces from the 1900s-1950s for their sense of class.
