Daniel made the right decision. If Brittany is really the one for him, she would accept Sarah, no matter how old she is.
Ten years is nothing when you're grown up anyway! I am one of four sisters, and there's eight years between eldest and youngest. Didn't make any difference once we were adults.
@@carolroberts4614 it's so true my sister is 10+ years older than me and she will be at my wedding or I'm not getting married to that person.
@@carolroberts4614 My dad was the oldest and his youngest sibling is only 3 years older than me. I'm about 30 years older than my youngest 1st cousins. The woman in this story was being ridiculous and thoughtless towards the man she supposedly loved. She wasn't ready to marry anyone.
Our family are mixed up! My youngest grandson is 8, and his brothers and cousins are in their late twenties!
@@carolroberts4614 same my niece is 4 years younger than me. I also have one that is a year older than me, and her cousins are still babies
I was a little shocked when Brittany called Donna mommy like a little kid and Daniel not marrying Brittany was the right decision
right? After being so rude to older people, I was also shocked with the whole "mommy" thing. the whole name calling reminds me when my mom would do that. But mostly with my first and middle name or would call me by my middle name too when she got mad
@@sarahader8118 Bruh, you know when you heard all three names, you were doomed. XD
@@BearPawSwipe 🤣
So she just wanted to alienate him from anyone that loves him.
Yes, a classic narcissist move to enhance control. She likely would have made him miserable and then run off with his money.
Thats exactly what shes trying to do..
That's why she chose a man who has very little family. It makes the job easier.
Brittany sure dug her own grave. Getting disowned in the end, then got in debt of $50k. LOLOL!!!
Such a shame she lost contact with Donna. Sounds to me like they could have become great friends.
Too bad that Sarah didn't keep seeing Donna. Should have been a great friendship.
Its a shame OP didn't kept touch with Donna more often. She could have been the 'daughter' she never had. A responsible daughter.
Ooh, I love when they break out the “first middle last name”! You know shit’s about to go down.
As a kid that grew up in Oklahoma if you hear your whole name being used that's the cue that you are about to be up shit creek without a paddle much less a canoe.
Thanks for the video. Brittany got what she deserved. She didn't think things thru
And she ended up shooting herself in the foot with the entire magazine.
ooohhhh snap, mama used your full name!!!!! you KNOW your @$$ is grass when your full name comes out!!!😂😂😂
I really wanted the texts to stop and a video to start with a flying flipflop.
@@celiashen5490 lol I agree
I would always do the Vince McMahon gulp of fear when I heard my full name.

What person in their right mind asks the groom's sister NOT to attend his wedding?
...especially since they were the ONLY family each other had.
Remember, the story mentioned that their parents were gone.
A person that is a complete block-head. This Brittany or whatever her name is the worse to the grooms sister since the sister is his only family. Still watching this video
A Narcissist which the bride sounds like.
I mean, I could see it if groom and sister are no contact. Like the ones where sibling is super toxic or likely to wear white and distroy the cake etc.
that is what she gets for being so disrespectful to anyone a bit older than her. God this woman. feel bad for the mother, she must feel so ashamed of having such a brat like that
It always kills me how these people think they'll get away with not inviting their partner's family to their wedding. As if on the day the partner won't ask why or something.
Exactly!
If my sibling's fiance/fiancee told me that I would not be welcome at the wedding, for WHATEVER excuse, I'd reply, "That's nice. I'll just confirm directly with my sibling."
"What?! NOOOOo! Haha. You don't need to do that. You can trust me."
"Of course I can. That's why I'm going to confirm with my brother that YOU TOLD ME not to come, because (reason they gave). In fact, I'll just forward this whole written conversation, so there can be NO CHANCE of misunderstanding."
"What? WAIT! Don't DO THAT! You can't DO THAT!"
"Huh? What did you say? Sorry, I just finished sending the conversation to my sibling. I missed the last thing you said."
"NOOOOOOOO! You've ruined EVERYTHING!!! Oh, no! He's calling me now! What am I going to DO? HELP ME! Tell him it was all a misunderstanding. Of course I want you there!"
"But, you just told me that the two of you agreed that you did NOT want me there. You want me to lie to my own brother? I don't think so. We love each other. And we trust each other. So, naturally, we take the time to discuss everything, thoroughly, to ensure there is never a misunderstanding. I mean, let's face it, my family are big readers, and we've read SO MANY novels, where all the drama is caused by a simple lack of direct communication. That's why our parents taught us to ALWAYS TALK TO EACH OTHER. So, you wanted me to tell him something else? Why is that?"
"Aaaaaah! He's calling the wedding off! This is all YOUR fault! You should have just sucked it up, shut up, and gone away! Why didn't you just BELIEVE ME when I told you not to come?"
"Well, what can I say? I grew up in the Reagan era. Trust, but verify. That was the motto. So, I'm sorry to hear the wedding is off. My brother must be heart-broken. I'll go console him now. BYE!"
Such people only scheme and plot and scheme and plot and they really think they are so smart... they aren't even smart enough to see that other people totally see through them, but let them be out of kindness.
But the day eventually comes when their luck just run out.
@@AuntLoopy123 Regan Era: trust but verify.
Early internet era: pics or it didn't happen.
@@Kevin7557 look it up on Wikipedia... type in the quote. I don't know how to attach a screenshot onto this reply...
@@katsgiers1888 I believe you. I was making a joke on the modern itteration. Back in the day people would make claims, some of them would be true, some wouldn't be. The Chans adopted the policy of pics or it didn't happen. The modern version of trust but verify. If they're telling the truth, they'll have pics.
It's tongue and cheek, not absolute though.
I actually thought it would've been Daniel confronting Britney instead of the mother. Bait and switch! I love that.
When mom pulls out your full name on your wedding day you have messed up big time. Soiling your dress wouldn't be excessive at that point.
Hearing your parents use your entire name is definitely a "I'm up shit creek" moment.
You had it easy. My mother would have simply walked up behind me and popped me on the back of my head before yelling
Brittany is about a huge dose of reality and why is it that every single one of these stories always has a stuck up snooty Bridezilla/Groomzilla trying to exclude the older sibling of the other partner who is literally the only family member they have left?
The channels are run by a content farm corp, so they often reuse plots to make the videos
Same reason when someone gets locked in a shed/room/whatever and they message some person they know instead of calling the cops.
There wouldn't be a story.
@@Bakuryu0083 🤣 truth
I haven't seen one w a groomzilla can ya tell me which one that is?
How many MCN Organization story videos have used this routine?
Brittany had something to hide and was afraid of being found out and exposed by Sarah. She wanted Sarah out of her life because she saw her as a threat. Meantime, she overestimated herself because she was found out, anyway. Considering the “good life” that she was looking forward to with Daniel, and that she had never worked, she was nothing but a two-bit gold digger. In the end, as Sarah said, she dug her own grave.
(aftercredits) Brittany in her last attempt to reconcile with Daniel, stalked him, Sarah and his new fiancee weeks later to a fusion restaurant and made such a huge scene that was streamed live on social media, slapping his fiancee and shaking Daniel back and forth in hysteria in tears, begging him to forgive and marry her and have lots of kids with to quote "secure their relationship." And when he refused called her a "selfish narcissist sociopath", causing the entire restaurant to go .."oooohh", Brittany lost it and began a nonstop scandalous tirade of revealing their most intimate moments together causing the entire restaurant to gasp audibly, causing Daniel's fiance to get dewy-eyed, and he and Sarah was getting more furious with her every second. But then Brittany's dress caught on the edge of a nearby rickety pushcart. Unfortunately, one of the wheels broke off, causing the waiter to scream as he and the cart fell over, taking Brittany's entire outfit along with it. Brittany gasped and then screamed and tried to run away but she slipped on some spilled soup and next thing she was met a barrage of light flashes and laughter emanating from the restaurant, including Daniel's fiancee, a triumphant shrug and smirk on Sarah's. Brittany now red-faced and embarrased, grabbed the nearest apron off a waiter and ran away into the night. To this day, no one knows where she is, but rumour has it that she built herself a hastily put-together boathouse in and makes a living peddling squid and tuna on boardwalks along the west coast, but is always on the run whenever a customer recognizes her.
Funny how Brittany said all MILs are evil, completely ignoring that her own mother will be MIL to Daniel.
Sad that Op and Donna did not intensify their contact and are only occasionally texting.
To the fiancée to be, unless she want to be an ex, she should never kick the sibling of the groom she was meant to marry out of the wedding or else, that doomed ex fiancée will no longer be a part of the groom’s life.
I just can't imagine how Brittany could hope for any other outcome when it all came to light, as it surely would!
Britanny now homeless and old and wrinkled, knocked on the Daniel's door a decade later, and when he answered the door, she threw her arms around and in one last act of desperation, said "I missed you" and shoved his tongue down his throat. A few hours later, she woke up black and blue In the hospital in a cast, her credit card cancelled, courtesy of Daniel's wife.
it's funny how people say, weddings don't happen very often or only happens once in your life when we see people getting married 2-5 times in their life time
Have a cousin that's been married so many times I forget. 4? 5? One 'offed herself. One was the head of the USO at an ANG base and cheated with a coworker. His final marriage has lasted 20 something years.
@@dlewis9760 what does USO and ANG stand for? never heard of them
Had a coworker once say she had been married and divorced so many times she could no longer update her Social Security card. She wouldn't elaborate on how many times that was.
why is it that these bridzillas forget that it's not just their special day, it's the grooms day too!
Bridezilla finds out she hasn't got all the power she imagines and goes way to far..... Before she realizes love these people who get too cocky
Classic example of the narcissist.
My late husband's family was spread out. His little brother was the ring bearer at their oldest sister's wedding. Never bothered me to have a SIL 10 years older than my husband.
Kudos to you
I know a family whose oldest daughter got married (in her early 20's), at about the same time the youngest son was being born.
They live nearby, and actually work together, in a family business, so they're all really close, and share the child-care duties (as the oldest daughter is now having children, of her own), and it's one big, happy family. It's a HAPPY family, because it's a family of GOOD people, who CARE about each other, and other people, too. They do so much charity work! They genuinely CARE about their friends and neighbors, and they teach that to the children.
And it comes back so much, because if they have a problem, and word gets out, they have a LOT of people ready to help and support them.
Let me put it this way: Their business was shut down, HARD, by the pandemic. They survived, and were able to keep going, and keep open, and THRIVE again, because of PEOPLE.
"Hurt people hurt people" is true, but it's also true that "Helping people get help."
That bride could have had the most helpful sister in the world, if she'd just kept her mouth shut, and waited for the sister to PROVE whether or not she'd be a good in-law. "Mothers-in-law are ALWAYS awful!" So, she expects her own mother to be horrible to her husband? Without proof? What does that say about her opinion of her own mother? And also, I can attest that there are some FANTASTIC mothers-in-law out in the world. I've seen them.
The best in-laws are the ones who see that the person marrying their child LOVES their child, and makes their child happy. "I may not agree with you on the process, but if the end result is my child being happy, I will support you, all the way!" That's how SMART people behave.
Yup. If your parents call you by your first, middle, AND last names, RUN! You’re really in BIG trouble.
Invitation? When my sisters were to wed, i never got an invitation card.
I AM THE MASTER OF CEREMONY! What invitation do i need?
If the bride to be is already pulling sh*t like this before they are married? Run Daniel, run.
Spoiling your child to the point where they are rotten and believe they can say and do whatever they want with no consequences, should be a felony.
Honestly the SHE is unbelievable there are so many people out there that have a big age gap with siblings like me I'm 20 going on 21 in Dec years older than my baby sister same goes for my two older siblings and for my mom my mom is 22 years older than her younger brother, age doesn't matter my mom had my beautiful baby sister last year in April at age 42 so that doesn't mean anything, I honestly hate people that judges others ages.
If my Sister's fiance has pulled a stunt like this Sister would have knocked his block off.
Good for Daniel booting Brittany. Girl needs to achieve adulthood. Her parents were smart to dump her.
That bit with the bride saying "Mommy" felt so awkward guess cause she acted like a spoiled brat realizing only enough to know that she was in trouble
“And I realize that mothers-in-law don’t really have a good reputation.
I blame Hollywood for that”
Made me laugh 😂
( 12:29 for the people who need the time stamp :))

Warning 2 - first and middle names.
Final warning - first, middle and last names - you knew you were in huge trouble at this point.
You could be the best parent in the world and some kids just turn out awful. NC is the best thing for her.
If my future spouse turns around and try to keep me away from my family; I would cancel the wedding.
The way they’re saying ceremony drives me nuts lol
A steering wheel stuck up my a** drives my nuts!😂 Think about it…….
So she can have family but he can't? Why are so many of these whiney little brides so intimated by the older sister who raised their hubby to be?
My son and lovely DIL thought having both of their families coordinating their outfit colors(some combination of burgundy and/or black)
The pictures were wonderful.
Interesting
Why make his sister act so oblivious? I can honestly agree with the sil on that part. She sounds annoying.
Another horrible Disrespectful bride
New mom voice!
When your mother calls you by your full government name, you know you’re in all kinds of trouble. Why do these brides think they can talk to the groom’s sisters disrespectfully and still expect the groom to marry them? No one want’s to be around that.
How old is Brittany? As a grown woman she needs to support herself, geez.
Mom's shining spine must be visible from space, no doubt about that.
Screenshot screenshot screenshot...and text the brother to let him know what his bride is claiming / trying to do.
NGL, there was a split second where I thought it was still Sarah talking to Brittany, but the minute I heard the full name, I was like "Wait...there was a tone shift a few sentences back...DAMN YOU GO MOMMA!"
Damnnnnnnn that backfire real quick
"You want me to leave? Then quit hiding behind your phone and get over here and throw me out."
Shouldn't blame hollywood for the bad mother in law rap. They can't help it if that one actually tends to be true. 😂😂😂 Blame the bad mother's in law. 😂😂😂
Lots of families disowning members in these videos.
Britany is bad when even her family wants nothing to do with her
Hi kudos to the big sister for doing a great job taking care and raising her brother you replace your parents in that wedding the bright to be was really a bridezilla and a monster she make sure did not have any reason to talk to your brother about any arrangement for the wedding she can't exactly what she deserved I was so happy the mother did not pull part for her daughter she see the truth what her daughter is and I really have to comment the mother for standing up for what is right
I love that donna's icon is cookies/ shortbread and tea? Milk
"I can't lose my fiance and my parents!"
I think what Brittnay meant to say was "I can't lose my new comfortable life and the people that spoiled and pampered me hand and foot!"
When it comes right down to it, it's the fault of the parents for spoiling their kids into entitlement. Yeah, I'll admit that the reasons WHY kids are spoiled are reasonable: Only child, adopted child, a child with disabilities...
But that's about it. Parents have to balance the spoiling with some discipline and wisdom. When done properly, kids will grow up to become better adults with empathy, kindness and responsibilities.
Science has said the way we raise girls to believe they are special and without competition or discipline is the worse way to raise children unless your goal is to produce narcissists.
This funding was in regard to how millennials were raised, but an easy correlation since it's the same.
I'm a millennial

and I don't remember getting any "spoiling" growing up. all I remember is emotional and physical abuse when I was too young to retaliate, both at school and at home. I don't have any good memories of my childhood either.

@@Kevin7557 both my parents were in my life. But he goes to work and mom was Stay at home. I'm too old to be saying this, but some things just don't fade away even after so many years.
Is it weird that I'd like for one of these stories to have a wholesome ending that doesn't involve vengeance, like the early relationship or something like that
Brittany put herself in that situation for being so selfish and trying to control others, so she deserves what consequences she receives. Glad Donna continues her new friendship.
Full name called? You know you're about to get your tail lit up!! 😰😵

Brittany will remain single for the rest of her life. No man(young or old)will want a shrew like that. She destroyed her own life.
If only.
did Sarah keep in touch with the mother?
No need to blame Hollywood for mother-in-law's reputation. It's the same no matter which culture, which country..
"To this day, it still strikes me odd how such a terrible daughter was raised from such a wonderful person." Yeah, seen that in too many families, and I still wonder, too. I've also seen it work the other way - loser parents sometimes raise decent kids, although it's rare It almost seems like the luck of the draw. In this one, Daniel was the only one who escaped without too much damage because isn't stuck with a wretched gold digger like Brittany.
I just love how these people turn from BADASSES to PUTTY when they get busted for DOING or SAYING something STUPID!!!!!
Like DID or DO they NOT think that something would get back to the other person too? You basically telling this man's ONLY family member NOT to come to his wedding?!!! Not only is she his BIG SISTER but she's like his MOTHER too.
Me and my sisters lost our mother at young ages, so I raised them also and I would be DAMNED ALL TO HELL if one of them was getting married and the person told me I COULDN'T BE THERE!!!! And I also know that as soon as they found out.... IT WOULD BE OVER before I would have a chance to say ANYTHING!!!!!!! AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!
people just don't understand--a parent can do everything "right" raising their kids and they can still grow up to be complete azzholes. Conversely, parents can be total asses and their kids can grow up to be great. Each of us had to choose how we would live and act. The great secret to parenting is to equip children with the boundaries and hope they listen and learn. If they do it is great, if they do not, you have to show them how boundaries work. Parents are important, but never forget that most of the life of a child after they start school is dominated by school, entertainment, friends, and the culture at large. Parents fade in importance until the new adult faces real life for the first time and needs real guidance. It is unfortunate that in some (or perhaps many these days), our culture tells kids that their parents are stupid and oppressing them.
There may be some truth in that. In that case, I am SO GLAD that my family moved so much. We were rarely in one place long enough to succumb to peer pressure. And we didn't have time to be led astray by our best friends, because WE were each other's best friends. WE HAD TO BE. When you spend most of your time being "The New Kid," and a lot of that time stuck in a car or airplane, BEHAVING YOURSELF, you learn to chat, a LOT. And we learned to love and support each other, and be friends with each other, and make our own fun. We got hooked on a few TV shows, but frequently, we had to stop watching them, as we moved to a new country, where the show wasn't on the air. So, we lost out on a lot of pop culture, as well.
But, we learned that we could count on each other. We learned that we could get along with each other. We learned to LIKE each other. And now, in the second half of our centuries, we are BEST FRIENDS with our siblings, and quite satisfied with our "bubble" of a small social circle.
We'll welcome new people in (I introduced my best friend to my brother, and now she's my sister! And just as close as my other sisters!). But nobody has managed to remove one from us. My late sister's late husband TRIED, but even he could not wrench her out of our family.
When an abuser fails to isolate his victim, you KNOW they are tight with the family. And that's good. We're not "co-dependent," or whatever people say about "being too close to your family. It's UNNATURAL!" No. We're just SUPER supportive, and that is GOOD. And yes, we DO call each other out when we go wrong. And we LEARN from each other.
I'm not trying to brag, y'all. I'm just trying to spread some hope, that there ARE families that make it work, and you're not stuck. My parents' families were abusive, and they broke the cycle with us. It took lots of hard work, and frankly, they have both declared, when asked, that they have NO IDEA how it managed to work out so well. They don't take credit.
I think that you're right. Environment and peer pressure and who you have for friends makes a HUGE difference. We just got insanely lucky.
Brittany loves the brisket!
Especially the gimp room brisket!
Donna hit Brittany with the government name callout, she was THAT disappointed in her daughter. I adore Donna AND Daniel in this, because I mostly see the younger sibling that was raised by the protagonist winding up betraying them and siding with their jerk spouse. So, this is a lovely change!
…thing is….if Daniel had told her that himself, I’m more than sure that OP would be wholly understanding about it, as would everyone else, but for Brittany to assume that…you don’t put assumptions on people’s emotions, you let them express on their own
Another "bride wants older sister who raised groom to not attend wedding because fat/older/disfigured/etc"
That’s like another wedding story bride don’t want grooms sister at the wedding because grooms sister is fat 1 thing she doesn’t know that the grooms sister paying for the wedding same story parents died
@@pandamoon8067 And there's an episode where the bride didn't want the sister of the groom to attend the wedding just because the sister didn't go to college and works at a care home and in the eyes of the bride that makes her a bottom feeder and the bride thought that her family is superior just because they come from what she called "Old money" and come to find out the groom is a lawyer and the parents of the bride thought that the fact he is a lawyer would get them easy access to the assets that grandma had stashed away and the bride didn't realize that her grandma paid for the wedding and because she decided to turn into bridezilla that the grandma canceled the wedding.

What's the big deal about a large age gap between siblings? I say that from experience; I'm over a decade older than my brother and it doesn't bother either of us in the slightest. I also have no hesitation in saying he's a far better man than me. Yes, I was at his wedding, and my SIL is cool.
Right!! I'm 10 Year's older than my youngest Brother. The other 5 sibling's and I all say he's the Best of us!

Brittany is basically an Amber Heard.
Matching or Complementary outfits?
Complementary would have the different families look distinct, bit still sorta coherent
Brittany's stupidity reminds me of the rich man's D who accepts a blank check to pay for the wedding. And on the eve says she doesn't want him to walk her down the aisle. " So old fashioned". He refuses to attend and stops talking to her till his death.
And she knew how important it was to him because that was all he talked about!
