They are insanely talented. Start from the beginning of their journey, you will see the journey they went through. They joined at YG Entertainment by giving audition & they trained there & finally made it. Ruka is the oldest member trained for almost 5 years & Chiquita is the youngest trained for 1 year and 3 months. YG has monthly evaluations for their trainees. Each month they have three stages: solo song, group song, and group dance. They evaluate them on a few things like where they need to improve or where they would like to see them grow. There are a few reason that they do this but it is also to prepare the trainees for handling the stress that they will have when becoming an idol and debuting. So the video was from them when they first auditioned to their last evaluation. The song was written about their journey and determination to push through the tough time and achieve a goal.
Individually, each one is very talented and unlike other group in K-pop where you have a main and lead in a category, I don't think that you have the same thing here. All of them can sing but you do have 5 that could be considered main vocalist. Currently, three of them can rap and the youngest member is learning to rap right now. Two of them could be considered main rapper. All of them can dance but two of them you could call main dancers but they all have that certain YG swag when dancing.
I would suggest starting with the live performances first then moving on to the introduction videos. The live performance videos are on the YG channel and not on the BABYMONS7ER channel. This will get you familiar with each member. The you could watch the 'Last Evaluation' episode to see their journey. If you are going to watch the last evaluation episodes then I would skip the cover videos since it is already in the last evaluation.
BabyMonster is an upcoming South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment. Consisting of seven members 3 members from Korea, 2 members from Japan and 2 members from Thailand:
- Ruka 21 yrs old from Japan
- Pharita 17 yrs old from Thailand
- Asa 16 yrs old from Japan
- Ahyeon 15 yrs old from Korea
- Haram 15 yrs old from Korea
- Rora 14 yrs old from Korea and
- Chiquita 14 yrs old from Thailand
YG Entertainment introduce Baby Monster to public in January 2023 with individual live performance follow up with Final Evaluation until final line-up with 7 members and YG plan to issue the official debut albums no later than fall this year.

Just like any kpop group. They auditioned to become trainees of YG. They were trained 1-5years. A few months ago, 7 were selected from the pool of trainees to be a part of the "Final Evaluation Series". Its on their channel. 8 ep in all. You may react to those from the very first video and so on.

Blackpink's sisters are AMAZING, they will not be embarrassed Blackpink as sisters and role models. They also have the 'IT' or 'X' factor.
Not a competition show. It’s the standard YG ( K-pop) training process where they go in for 2-5 yrs of training and the best survive and debut. (Same as Blackpink backstory) just they filmed the last few months and made the last evaluation on TH-cam. Asa and Ruka are the Japanese rappers your going to love them.

Cliff, in order of appearance...Chiquita, 13, From Thailand; Rora (Roar-rah) 14 from Korea; Ahyeon (Eye-yon), 15, from Korea; Pharita (Pah- ree-tah), 17 from Thailand; Haram (Hah-rum) 15 from Korea; 1st rapper is Ruka (Roo-Kah) 20, from Japan; 2nd rapper is Asa (Ah-sah), 16, from Japan. Chiquita, Ahyeon, Ruka and Asa have had birthdays since this was filmed so they are now actually a year older.

While not technically a survival show, yes there is a *show* called "The last Evaluation" on their youtube channel. 8 episodes long roughly 18 minutes long each. + many other videos like i mentioned where you can see their audition, several monthly evaluations, interviews with them reflecting their experience as trainees at YG and much more.

well, you just stumbled upon such a very promising new girlgroup from Kpop industry, they haven't officially debuted yet, they coming from the same label as BLACKPINK does but 7 years younger apart from BLACKPINK themselves,

Awesome reaction! Thanks for doing this. Keep it up! They started from YG audition (same like BlackPink), and went through the monthly evaluation process (that you sometimes heard mentioned from BlackPink videos). Only difference is that BABYMONSTER's journey is better documented than BlackPink's. I guess YG learned many things from nurturing BlackPink, and decided to get as many fans as possible by getting us invested in BABYMONSTER right from their trainee days.
You can watch their individual introduction and then the "Last Evaluation" series (8 parts) leading to the final selection. The pre-debut song came after they were announced. Also they dropped a dance performance video last week dancing to JLo's "Jenny from the block". You might wanna check that one out too.

everyone always like to start with evaluation episode , nope , u should start with babymonster live performence , that the first YG introduce little sister blackpink to public , than go to Introduce every member , than last evaluation of them , not a realitt show or whatever , they just trainee like the other but u know , YG have marketing plan so they put like " LAST EVALUATION " thing , so START FROM LIVE PERFORMENCE ALL OF THEM
Basically Blackpink's contract for 7 years was due to renew, and generally the company will debut a new group even if they renew contract as a new generation of group and that's where Babymons7er comes in. They are YG's next generation girl group and Blackpink's junior.
Head over to YG channel and check out the Live performance #1-7, then the introduction of the members, then finally Last Evaluation.
Last Evaluation was originally teased as a survival show where YG's CEO would whittle down the 7 members that was introduced and pick the best composition for the final lineup. I will let you watch the rest without spoiling too much.

This was the first one publish and it is of Haram singing "Let Me Love You", #2 to #7 would follow.
YG then publish introduction videos for each member followed by "Last valuation" which will show you the YG training program and will determine which of the members will debut as Babymonster. YG himself gives a video announcing the final members. Then a video of the girls reacting to the results as they find out who will go on as Babymonster the group.
Babymonster, from same company as Blackpink. Though haven't debuted yet has already 2M subs in thier official YT channel. Too much talent in one group and toxic fans from other fandoms are lining up hating as expected. and so are the toxic solo stans. Kpop is crazy fun.
