Very respect frm core of heart ........wht a classical concept of teaching....... make me more easier to under stand the physiology of endometriosis 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Dear Sir, 1)Does raloxifine help with restricting proliferation of endometrial deposits? 2)Do Aromatase inhibitors like letrozole with COCP regress size of lesion in premenopausal women? 3)If a premenopausal women on COCP take off label letrozole, can letrozole make endometriosis worse by stimulating the ovaries or will the stimulating effect be nullified by continuos COCP use ? 4)Why COCP is used when actually endometriosis is estrogen dependent? The low dose of estrogen only limits the rate of proliferation. Why COCP is preferred over progestrone only pills ? Isn't progesterone only pills better than low dose estrogen as progesterone causes atrophy ? Thank you so much for the wonderful lecture!!. Would really appreciate if you could take your time to answer above 4 questions please. Thank you sir.

Wow lecture was 😍😍 very useful. Very Informative. Plz somebody ans this If a female is suffering from endometriosis then is she allowed admission in aiims Delhi(mbbs)
@@prassanvij1839 Sir actually this whole confusion was, In Aiims(mbbs)brochure it mentions that if in Medical Fitness Test, a candidate is found Medically UNFIT to the course then he/she will not be admitted (Also In AFMC eligibility criteria Endometriosis was mentioned under Medically UNFIT) So Endometriosis is Medically FIT or UNFIT for Mbbs Course?
@@PriyaK-ny1yb AFMC... Things may be different. Itd to do with army. Thats why I am sure you will not miss things in other govt colleges ... If it was a reason, then 10% women may not be eligible!
I have a doubt? What is the Surgical treatment for EM or we shouldn't go for it unless cocp doesn't work.? Hysterectomy along with oophorectomy is the option ?
Side effects of hysterectomy and oophorectomy are far too many on a young woman than with the disease itself. The option of hysterectomy is generally kept for cases beyond 45 yrs

Not a problem....
Many doctors have it already.
Its a condition affecting 5-10% of all women.
And it's not a limitation in becoming a great physician.
@@prassanvij1839 Sir can they get MS department also??
@@PriyaK-ny1yb yes... Absolutely. Any condition that is not debilitating physically is safe for any clinical branch
