It's pointless trying to argue with grandma. Old folks normally don't have much patience. She has good memory so it's obvious somebody removed her bag. At her age, just let her continue chatting till it wear off. Don't prolong the argument with her. She will eventually quiet down. Once the bed is tidied just put back her bags with all her "corouches" back onto her bed where she can readily find them. That's just the way old folks are.
You should let her relatives encouraged her to go get her ears checked. I believe it's clogged with wax. I know an elderly man, couldn't hear, when the doctor looked inside the ear, wax blocked the canal. Him can hear good now.
