I can honestly say: in 35+ years of gaming I’ve never spent as much time as I have chasing after a cotton tail. Lol. Finally ended up creeping up on one to about 15 yards, WOUNDED it, and had to track for a few hundred yards. Then it ends up standing there by a rock like three feet from me. Bang. Chase over. 🤣 Roosevelt forest in the evening if that helps anyone, and there were multiples to the north of the spot recommended here right across the stream
Thanks dude! I tried 5 times. I also figured out elk spawn near the tent closest! I ha e killed two legendary elk from there! On my last attempt however the rabbit just walked up to the stand 😂
Nothing here at all. No tracks or sign of cotton tail. Spent hours in the location. Yes I did this in the evening mode. I had heard they did an update on the rabbit profile and some of the glitches. Maybe the changed the location as well?

The one in the video took about 30 minutes of waiting/stalking. Finding the spot took much longer to figure out.

They can only be found in the Roosevelt forest in Colorado. I had better luck in the Chihuahuan desert
