I didn't do too much. I adjusted the crossfader curve to be as sharp as it can be. Do you think your fader is the problem? Or is it the way the platters respond? You may have to adjust the buffer size to improve the response, but that only works if your computer can handle that.

Hey DJ TLM. Currently, i have the Denon MC4000. I'm looking to get into turntables and vinyl. Should I go for real turntables such as the Denon VL12 Prime with the X1800 Prime mixer or should and the DS1 so I can tap into Serato without having to lug around crates of vinyl or should I go for something like this that it already has a built-in sound card, built-in everything? I don't know what I should be looking into getting.
Jeremy Burd I just purchased this controller. Waiting on it to arrive. Personally, if u just have to have vinyl and want the experience of changing the vinyl in your mixes, then this won't give u that thrill. If you want the thrill of mixing vinyl without changing from record to record, then this is perfect. Plus, you can always add turntables to the controller bc it has a mixer to control them. I love that idea.
Moses Randle Moses Randle that’s what I want. The trill of using vinyl without changing records. Either using a DVS box like the denon ds1 or this, the numark ns7iii.
Hi DJ TLM. Thank you for your vid. I have a question to it. I am a newby in Djing an haven't ever done a gig with real vinyl or real Turntables. I bought a NS 7 II. And today i have seen a video for using stickers to "find" the 8 or the beginning of the song. Is it useful bring a sticker at the NS7 II too?
hey. just purchased this and using serato dj software. had a few questions. hope you can help. 1. How do I set it so the headphones move from channel to channel with the fader. currently I have to switch channels by selecting the channel manually each time. 2. how do I get my same effects to be controlled on the contoller rather than in the laptop. 3. is there a way to hear the fx on a track through the headphones while cuing up the song. this way I can prepare my fx knobs and prep my next transition without the crowd hearing it. 4. Lastly, I'm trying to make a name for myself using youtube and or Facebook Live but keep getting my uploads flagged. How do you make a mix and post it online without TH-cam flagging it. thanks for all your help.
Is the numark ns7 ii a good buy? The reviews are saying its a best but i google ns7 ii issues and i saw a couple of issues people run into so i an somewhat confuse need some help
Question...I just got this controller and I was curious if there was any way to hold the pitch stable while messing with tempo. Pitch bend is very evident even at the smallest tempo tweak (a good thing I guess) but my old controller had a button next to the tempo that would hold the pitch constant. Is there any such thing on this controller or on Serato? I have to be missing something.. Thanks!
Hi, I've been using Pioneer controllers and CDJs for quite a while and have never done anything with vinyl or DVS. Considering the fact that I'm at the very begining of my DJ road and there is a lot of fundamentals yet to be understood, is it really advisable to get a NS7ii? I've never thought about seriously making DJing my career (I'm still in University, and my subject has nothing to do with music at all) but I do want to master it as a hobby and eventuelly help some friends out with their parties. P.S.: A more specific question: does the jog wheel of NS7ii work the same way like a real vinyl? I mean like adjusting speed, do I have to do it like I would have done on a vinyl but not like on a Pioneer machine?
Question for you TLM. Great videos by the way, I am learning a lot from you. My question is: Should I go for NS7 II or TRAKTOR S8? I am a beginner and I have been using TRAKTOR S2 for over a year now. I love everything about what I see about the NS7 II and even tested it at Guitar Center Store however I don't scratch and that is why I'm indecisive also I'm more familiar with TRAKTOR Software and Not so much Serato. My Gigs are more Spanish or Latin clubs. Thank you for your support.
+vicant1000 I can't really help you out with that decision, but those are two extremely different controllers. One has spinning platters and the other has no jogwheels at all! If Traktor is what you prefer to use and you're not planning on doing any scratching, the S8 could work great for you.
thx dj tlm for your honest reviews which i've seen all but i have a trouble mixing with ns7ii cause i have an ddj sz and before it i have an ddj sx so got used to nudge the ddj sz platters to adjust the beat while mixing 2 songs together which i cant figure it out with the ns7ii moving platters as when i touch them to nudge or fine-tune the beat it stops and makes the mix off beat . any idea

NS7II vs DDJ-SZ which do you prefer?
hey. just purchased this and using serato dj software. had a few questions. hope you can help.
How do you make a mix and post it online without TH-cam flagging it. thanks for all your help.
i agree with everything you say. good video. subbed
3:40... no, U really move.
goddamn them backspin doe
your crazy good
Thanks tlm your awesome brother. Do you ever come to the states? Would be a pleasure to meet you bro.
Thanks!
Do you have to update your serato if you upgrade from the NS7?
Hi,
I've been using Pioneer controllers and CDJs for quite a while and have never done anything with vinyl or DVS.
I mean like adjusting speed, do I have to do it like I would have done on a vinyl but not like on a Pioneer machine?
djTLMtv Btw, do you have any information about NS7III? I'd like to know if it's worth to wait for this mashine.
did u use anything to make the tt more loose. better slip matts?
EPIC REVIEW!!!! WOW
thx dj tlm for your honest reviews which i've seen all
but i have a trouble mixing with ns7ii cause i have an ddj sz and before it i have an ddj sx so got used to nudge the ddj sz platters to adjust the beat while mixing 2 songs together which i cant figure it out with the ns7ii moving platters as when i touch them to nudge or fine-tune the beat it stops and makes the mix off beat . any idea
What does the beat mode do. U know the ones by the effect
Are you talking about the beat grid section with the adjust and slip buttons? If you are, it is use to edit your beat grid in Serato DJ.
No.the ones closer to the effects button
The beat/mode button is used to set a tempo for LFO fx. Press and hold button to set fx back to deck's bpm
Will that work with traktor too?
You can map the knobs and buttons to trigger functions in Traktor, but I don't think the platters will work.
does it work without computer? can you play straight from usb flash? and does it somehow mark the played tracks?
I saw the ns7iii for 700 usd or should i get the ddjsx for the same price?
Is it usefull to switch keylog off till scratching?
