There was a lovely movie where his FL was a very beautiful actress, she was his gf who disappeared from his life and returned 5 years later with his child. Really lovely story and believable cp. With Mei Mei I get father and daughter vibes, but guess many viewers are teenagers thus they don't see that. It's annoying though that nearly every movie it's him and Mei Mei.

FL's acting of the "fool" is the most realistic and natural one I've seen. Love the ML and FL's dialogues and expressive acting in this film. All very natural. Too many times, the CEOs are stoic and expressionless, with their hands always in their pockets, no matter the occasion. This version has has some scenes cut in the middle. Other versions have scenes cut in the beginning. Guess can't win them all.
Why did ML divorce her in the first place? Because she was a fool? If he didn’t like her from the beginning why have sex with her! 😅 I hate men like that. So this a no for me! He didn’t deserve her.

Abusive? He wasn't abusive. He was just stupid for divorcing her and sending her off to have the twins. Although there were doctors and nurses to care for her when she got to where he was sending her. It wasn't explained why he divorced her and sent her away.

The SFL was the one that did the damage. The SFL is the one who stole the FL's child, had it taken to the ML, and made up a story about the FL running away. The ML never even checked to see if it was true until years later.
I dont like how they kept calling her little fool. That's degrading. Why would he divorce her before she gave birth to the children? Wouldn't that make them illegitimate? How could he not know who she was after she had the children? She looked the same when she was with him as she did when she returned. She was supposed to be disfigured after she drank the poison. 🤔🤔

FINALLY Yu Long is paired with someone else than Mei Mei, albeit still too young IMO. I like it when he acts with same age actresses.
