  • What do politics, religious debates, and UFOs have in common?
They each have adherents who would rather die before admitting they are wrong. Thinking we are right when we only have some of the facts means giving up finding out the actual truth.
"Hero," a 1992 movie by Stephen Frears, perfectly illustrates how people think since they have some of the details. They already know the whole narrative. It is only at the last step, when we finally have all of the piece -- and it is hard to know when we even have the last piece -- that we can say we know the whole truth.

The (very) First Responder is usually some poor schmuck ambling along mindlessly 'til some life-threatening event happens right before his eyes and all of a sudden he finds his inner hero and immediately jumps into action without any hesitation, equipment, backup, or thought for his own personal safety ... (more often than not) ...

There is a movie from around the 40s with Barbara Stanwyke that was a similar story!

Thank you for making this video and the way you presented false assumptions. If I told you that this was just one of 2 movies that Dustin Hoffman told me he was going to play me, would you believe me or verbally attack me? The night Hoffman met me I was at a celebrity banquet. Where Hoffman told me I was Wagging the Dog. He was right about that. I wrote 2 songs and put together a concert to save starving peoples lives.
Without me those songs and that concert never would have happened. Yes, I allowed others to take credit for what I did that night.

    G. Davis might be one of the best actresses in history indisputedly. She has a wide range of performances in which she had succeeded wonderfully. Today; she is definately being missed...
