Part of the reason this version of the song is so amazing is that Jessie is such a generous performer on stage. Unlike most celebrities out there, she knows how to share the stage and the spotlight, so she accomplishes a real collaboration/duo here, on a musical and an emotional level. They were connected so deep inside that the magic happened outside, on a musical level. And even if what I'm gonna say apparently sounds like a contradiction, it's not, really:it was so perfectly rehearsed that it was extremely spontaneous and natural. In other words, they knew what to sing and when to sing so well that they could focus on the heart and the emotion.
