I have used a pound bag, if it was 300 I’d rock one, but for 500 bucks I would rather get two grip bags. I honestly like the set up better

Fair! I loved my CX-1 for reasons that the Rufus (my current bag) doesn't meet. The height of the bag was nice. And the CX-1 offered dedicated water bottle holders that Rufus doesn't have. It meant that my CX-1 offered more side storage and gave me much more room. Although, I'll be honest, I didn't use both side compartments on the Grip CX-1. I mostly used one for a light jacket/sweater. As someone that doesn't carry a lot of discs, the Rufus is the perfect bag for me. But I get that people have a limit and there are a lot of options available in the "premium category." Don't forget, lifetime warranty is a pretty big feature on these bags, even when purchased second-hand!

Yeah, I guess if you break it up it’s much more manageable!

Ive had my haul for about a week now. Coming from a squatch legend 2.1 this bag is so comfortable. It just feels better all the way around. I cannot express how good they feel on the back.

This company really can't expect that many people, especially beginners or intermediate players to spend $300-$500 on a bag. This is ridiculous.

If you play a few times a week and a dozen tournaments a year, the comfort/practicality/warranty of a bag really become important. Having a forever bag saves you in the long run.

@@moozoo82 I understand that. I play multiple times a week, and I’ve not once thought I needed to spend over $300 for a bag. I have a Prodigy BP-2 which has more than enough space and options, extremely comfortable with nice support on the back, and it’s less than $80. I just don’t see the need for bags like this to cost $300+ and be worth it for anyone to spend that much. There are so many other options even going up to $150 that would be far more better for almost everyone than spending so much for one of these bags. Just my opinion.

A completely valid perspective! I found these bag notably lighter than my previous Grip Eq bag. I loved my CX-1 (there's a vid on my channel praising it). But the rigid frame added weight and while it stood upright without an issue, I found it to be less comfortable. The thick and replaceable straps on the Pound Bag were a game changer for me, but you’re right! They’re a premium bag with a very premium price tag. Remember too, that this is the cost of a bag manufactured in the States and is the result of paying skilled workers fairly. It's why you can purchase a Mexican-made Martin acoustic guitar for significant less than an American made. In our world today, we've become so used to paying so little for goods and I'm no different! I buy things at dollar stores. I shop at Costco and I am guilty of buying things that were produced in countries that don't pay fair wages. I'm certainly not above it, I'm just noting that it's part of the reason why they're so expensive. This video was intended to showcase the details of the bag and everyone is entitled to their own opinion/perspective. Really appreciate you jumping on to provide yours! Thanks so much. I'll have to get my hands on a BP-2 to test out! Cheers!

I've been playing (obsessed with) disc golf for 17 years. I've spent thousands on my setup, and discs in general. I would never spend $450 on a bag. The jump from most high end bags at 150 to this at 450 is entirely a status thing. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Yes they have a lifetime warranty. That's not worth the extra $300, end of.
