As far as I know, there are several wargames companies present at Spiel. Warlord Games, Mantic, Games Workshop, Corvus Belli, CGL. I don't know if Modiphius was there this year but I think they were there last year.
Lego Rock Raiders sets were my absolute favorite as a kid. I might if I ever build a squats army I might do a rock raider theme… browns grey turquoise and hazard stripes
@@FauxHammer Sorry if I come of as a dick, but change it. It's been proving to be extremely unhealthy to bombard your brain with dopamine hits right before sleeping and immediately after waking up. Have you stopped putting audio only podcasts out? They cheered my commuter cycling up no end. No stress or anything, I know it is probably a lot of work for little reward. I just enjoyed it is all.
Normally with using bits of songs, it comes down to how much is used. Under (I think) about 10 seconds, you're covered with sampling laws, so that's how things like the four chord song don't have to pay anyone anything. When playing live, it's a different thing, as that comes under PRS licencing and not song rights. So there's a difference between playing a cover song live, the venue may have certain reporting responsibilities to the PRS as part of their licence, and recording a cover song for a published work, which comes down to obtaining permission from the rights holder(s) and likely having to pay a royalties fee.
I finished Cain books and on Bequin now, so damn good. Did not know her VA was in Baldur's Gate too. Oh and there's a character in there who's voices as an "American" too, Harlon Nayl, he's in most of the Eisenhorn books in some part. Honestly can't remember how Toby Longworth voiced him :D
What I wanna know is when the hell did Lego realise that their core audience is adults who do it as a hobby, because that's when the price hikes started happening like crazy. Like, all of the lego stuff is literally ten times more expensive than it was like 15 years ago when you could see stuff like Hogwarts express sell for less than 20 euros.
I;m not worried about now, I[m worried for both companies in the next 20 or so years as we all just, well... die. and they did nothing to attract enough of a young audience now to replace us.
They discovered that when they saw that it was adults that bought big expensive sets, and that they keep buying no matter how big and expensive they make them.
I had exactly the same problem with ravenor while driving! I had no clue who was who after a while (due his mind business) and it just disintegrated into nonsense
I've added to my watch list to when I'm at work tomorrow but have to ask before I forget! Ross, where did you get the Old Hammer t-shirt from? Asking for a friend.... my wallet.
At least in New Zealand Lego seems really good value. The sets are a similar price to the 80s and 90s but have loads more pieces in them. Warhammer on the other hand....
Sorry to add to any lego build time, but you should always do it old school and just tip all the bags i to 1 box so you can spend 20mins looking for the 1 piece you need. Anything else is cheat coding your way through the build 😂
Ok but seriously… who _wasn’t_ that dad in The Lego Movie and when the reveal came you sheepishly tried to avoid the gaze from your now-grown-up-kids???
Good vid guys, agree that SM2is a great Warhammer game but only a good video game. Lego vs Warhammer cost - depends... What are those lightsaber lamps you guys have in the background?
Don't know where you grew up, but LEGO was expensive in the 90's. One of the bigger castles, that has barely any pieces compared to builds of today, was still 150-200 bucks (without inflation correction).

Ross should be happy with the announcement of the Death Guard kill team over the weekend
Taskmaster is filmed around where I live the wonderful Chesham. Little Alex Horne is a citizen of Chesham and Taskmaster is the Sponsor of Chesham Utd

Did you play the pc game? Loved it but it crashed a lot
Johnny thunder man
@@ajking4836yes! Absolutely loved it. Yes it crashed a lot but probably my most played Lego game
"I doomscrool every night before bedtime - I didn't sleep wel" Well there you have it

Filmed this one a bit early regarding the Death Guard Kill Team box ;p
It’s always the way for us, we couldn’t time it right, if our lives depended on it.
Christ boys, I know you like to let the conversation wander, but felt a bit like Warhammer was the tangent this episode.

We’ll adding in again soon. Sorry - Geoff
Ice Planet for the win!!! I saved up so much money to buy those sets as a kid
Love your Votann scheme, Ross. Such good sculpts, that lot - they make space marines look like Liberace's bodyguards.
thanks mate! i messed them up a bit but will post some pics on my insta later

The early seasons of taskmaster were definitely the best 👍 also those t shirts you guys have on are great! Where did Ross get that old school one?
Love an emotional support series. For me it's either Parks And Recreation or Friday Night Dinner
Ted Lasso, The Detectorists, Gone Fishing for me Every January I rewatch I start a full rewatch of taskmaster to get me through the winter.
The emperor saves us from GW and Lego realizing the possibilities of doing a collaboration, it would be the end of our saving
Have you seen the new box for KillTeam with the Space Marine Hero models ?
Yep! Colour me excited!

Good news Ross, a new Death Guard team is coming soon. Won't be 10 models though, 6 is standard for elite teams... DG might be 7 for theme reasons.
Seen it, I am overjoyed! I rang the lads when I saw it!
That's foreshadowing...
@@fireangel35 yes it is!
Both aren’t cheap, but I personally think both are good value for the amount of time and enjoyment I get from them
I miss Peachy on TPP…
Still watching, but yeah.
Thank you for doing so, it’s a shame Chris left but he’s still out there doing his thing.
Lego COLLECTING is more expensive than Warhammer
There's nothing like the abject terror of an unexpected high-volume rewind sound when you're all set to learn about bedsheets...
I just have this on in the background xD
We’ve definitely got the faces for background.

Lego rawdogging!
Haven’t listened yet but your spending is finished once you’ve bought your lego. With Warhammer it’s only started.
Bloody love taskmaster but yeh the later seasons are hit and miss

Sadly they aren’t lightsabers, they are just videographers lamps.

Ross likes the odd mean joke at the other hosts expense, could do without that.
Sorry if it’s not your bag. We’re all as bad off Cam.
Poor Ross is out of focus :/
