My heirloom angel has a segmented skirt to make it possible to sew in a smaller hoop but multi hooping designs like lace and applique is really tricky. It would depend on the design, whether it can be split easily (either with software or by the digitizer) and how good you are at precisely rehooping. Some lace - such as continuous borders are designed for multi-hooping but a standard lace design can be difficult.
Do you only purchase from Etsy? I have WAAAAY more content on my own website. Also, I often have sales on my own website. Etsy is just too hard to manage and charges me for each product I add.
