99% sure sticky pallets are a base-game feature so you can use them as, well, pallets. I think it was buried in one of the more recent updates.
Yes pallets have physlock in vanilla
they certainly are. had one spawn with so much on it that it crashed the game when i bumped it.
They're attachable base game too, I turned a bus into a 4-level fortress using them unmodded.
I use them a lot to stick things on the inside of cans, truck beds and on my roof. They're awesome.

I did a hoarding challenge video with this same approach (To a psychotic extent) and you'll notice a few things that inevitably will happen to you. A) YES. The van will be top heavy and constantly will want to be horizontal. B) Pallets are sticky. things will physics lock to them, but they are still quite heavy. C) with collision, this game will want to kill you. Have fun!
D) when you press "G to attatch" objects attatch to where you are looking NOT where there touching. took me too many frustrating hours figuring that one out.

3 pallets front to back, laying flat, width ways side to side to make a large platform to build off to start with.... NOPE XD
You could try sticking something to the nose of the van, in case you get into something, maybe if the car doesn't touch it won't put up as an accident, if you want
I haven't finished the video so if you did, good job but you should totally put like, 10 lights at the front of the roof above the window as spotlights and do the same all the way round so that everything around you at night is thoroughly lit up! Nevermind I finished the video

Scrap the fort. Make a smaller rooftop campsite and get floodloghts 360 around the top. Will be good at nighttime driving 😁👌
Nice I think a Maxwell would like it up there.
if you are going to loot a stop you have to bring a basket because it is physics locked so you can put anything you want in there and you only have to carry the basket.

You should reinstall the machine gun that can be attached anywhere and put it up on your fort so you have like a watchtower with a gun to kill all the mutants

Also yes all doors and even the glass roof for that hatchback oh and you can hover with the binoculars by holding space and using the scroll wheel to crouch breaks the mutants unless you shoot them
You should take a bus and add floors to it or take the van and make a new room on the back
I'm pretty certain the sudden daylight or nighttime is a result of the weather mod since I have it to and experience the same thing, my guess the mod wasn't designed around the day/night cycle

You should keep on building the fort but add like a watchtower on top of the van and like put like some Maxwell's on there so they look like they're watching the van at all times
