It depends what men are looking for. Not everyone wants a wife or serious GF. Obviously, Pattaya is not the place to find a wife. Some bar girls are ok, the problem is that some stupid men buy houses and cars for them. Just rent in places like Pattaya. I think learning Thai is a waste of time, unless you plan to live there for 10 or 15 years. It is not a global language and is useless outside of Thailand itself. Better to learn French or Spanish, or English for those people who can't speak it. At least these languages are spoken by hundreds of millions or billions of people.
You are a bit right but not about the language part. So many thai women with university education speak 100% perfect English because they travel different countries etc. Finding a women doesnt speak good is a lot more bad than good.
