I respect BR for bringing respect to critic fraternity especially these analytical /sensitivity to content but director shankar makes movie about middle class people and original imagination - somewhere feels BR and SR are opposites 😅
The problem with many tamil directors is that they have very limited story and presentation. They keep reusing these until the viewers start to realise this type of narration and gets bored. The way out is for this is directors to use stories from different authors.. I was just looking up steve spielbierg, and the stories, genres are so varied and he has made many many movies.

At the end of the day if the movie keeps the audience involved/entertained for 3 hours that's enough for us. We get bored if the actor does the same thing movie after movie except for rajini. As a middle age audience I am sick or Vijay movies. Used to like during thulladha manamum thullum times

There were 1000s of hurdles to finish Indian 2 production. Shankar had given too much head ache to Lyca, by simultaneously working on Game Changer and Indian2 . This Indian 2 project was supposed to get shelved . And I feel that's the reason The movie looks incomplete. I hope Indian 3 will enthrall us.
