You tend to notice people who don't like communism have to debate on your character instead of actual material conditions in order to "win" said argument. I remember someone I was debating with just kept on telling me "you seem like a good person, it's a shame this hideous ideology has taken you" and I was just like "okay but if you want to convince me to stop being socialism then you have to either give me an ideology that will address the conditions of the working class or disprove the labor theory of value" and they were just like "what a shame, what a shame, you aren't even listening to me, it's such a shame, I'm trying my hardest to make you see the light and you just still don't see it".
because the way those kind of people see Marxism, socialism, or anarchism as a threat to the order. Addressing equals to challenging. Right-wing ideologies simply embrace or intensify the already existing power structure, left-wing ideologies try to change. Remember the keyword: Order. So when hearing about "overthrowing", "struggle", or "revolution" the only thing they feel is threat. How about the working class? Well, their solutions are "just get along with it", a.k.a. corporatism (separating the society into 3 sections: State, corporations, and workers) a.k.a. class-collaboration, a clear ignorance of the conditions of the working class. Why do they embrace it? Because they embrace the power structure, they don't want a change. For me, majority of my friends come from the bourgeoisie (haute kind), and as such they arhe unable to understand the conditions of the working class, dismissing them as "lazy" or "irrelevant", which is kinda ironic since their tools and lovely clothes are produced in the sweatshops. This disconnection is caused by class division, and boy oh boy that is the reason why the aristocracy fell in Europe: Disconnection.

In my Opinion Anarchism vs Communism is a false dichotomy. The Anarchist and the Communist Movements have been at odds with each other but really the two concepts are symbiotic. The Liberation of the Working Class is the Goal of both.

You tend to notice people who don't like communism have to debate on your character instead of actual material conditions in order to "win" said argument.
I remember someone I was debating with just kept on telling me "you seem like a good person, it's a shame this hideous ideology has taken you" and I was just like "okay but if you want to convince me to stop being socialism then you have to either give me an ideology that will address the conditions of the working class or disprove the labor theory of value" and they were just like "what a shame, what a shame, you aren't even listening to me, it's such a shame, I'm trying my hardest to make you see the light and you just still don't see it".
My favorite part is when people show pictures of like, Detroit or Cincinnati and blame it on socialism.
because the way those kind of people see Marxism, socialism, or anarchism as a threat to the order. Addressing equals to challenging. Right-wing ideologies simply embrace or intensify the already existing power structure, left-wing ideologies try to change. Remember the keyword: Order. So when hearing about "overthrowing", "struggle", or "revolution" the only thing they feel is threat.
How about the working class? Well, their solutions are "just get along with it", a.k.a. corporatism (separating the society into 3 sections: State, corporations, and workers) a.k.a. class-collaboration, a clear ignorance of the conditions of the working class. Why do they embrace it? Because they embrace the power structure, they don't want a change.
For me, majority of my friends come from the bourgeoisie (haute kind), and as such they arhe unable to understand the conditions of the working class, dismissing them as "lazy" or "irrelevant", which is kinda ironic since their tools and lovely clothes are produced in the sweatshops. This disconnection is caused by class division, and boy oh boy that is the reason why the aristocracy fell in Europe: Disconnection.
I'd love to hear the Soviet anthem in French.

In my Opinion Anarchism vs Communism is a false dichotomy. The Anarchist and the Communist Movements have been at odds with each other but really the two concepts are symbiotic. The Liberation of the Working Class is the Goal of both.
