- Part 2 of the PA-10 Gen 3 AR10 rifle review. This is the accuracy test portion with a variety of .308 loads right out of the box.
Stay tuned for Part 3, where I take this rifle on a 3 day Hog and Ram hunt in Texas, where I'll put it to the test and tell you if I would trust it for hunting applications.
An additional accuracy test will be conducted with 7.62x51 ammunition at a later date in part 4, where I go over long term reliability with different types of ammunition and using it in various drills.

I zeroed at 100 with my PSA10 with Federal 168 grain. I have now shot about 100 rounds through it and still sub MOA. I have a Primary Arms 4x14 scope and have a .5 cheek riser on magpul
Great to hear! I suspect with a bit of time and extra rounds that my groups will most likely tighten up. Do you have the stainless steel barrel?
Have you found any particular ammo or loves/ hates?
@@jason-oh6qr Federal Premium with Sierra match bullet in 168 grain. Also I found that the gun shoots the 168 Remington Cor-Lokt really well
There was a tite spot in my barrel about where the gas block is. I used a realy tite fitting rag and some valve grinding compond on the bore. Now I get bug holes at 100.
This is good to hear. I’ve been getting 0.65-0.75 MOA with my PSA ar10 20” 308 with 168 & 175 SMK GMM.
Love the old timer in the background slingin that lead.
Hell yeah, gettin it done🤘
I have the gen two. I have found the barrel to be very tite at the gas block inside the barrel. So, I lapped the barrel with 500 strokes, and it has greatly improved my accuracy. Mine likes hornady 168 a-max at 2700 fps. 2.81 o.a.l. vortex dimondback tactical.4x16x44 I have made a few one hole 5 shot groups at 100 yards. Nice video!
Good to hear! Thanks for watching
Thanks for spending your time and money to teach us something, I appreciate it.
Thanks for watching! I appreciate YOU the viewer! Glad you got something out of this!
168 gr Nosler match with 43 grains of IMR 8208 XBR, Federal match primers and Norma brass gives me sub half inch groups at 100 yds in my PSA 18" 308 rifle.
Right on. Sounds like a great load. I’ve had good luck with Nosler Accubonds in my bolt action 308. Once I get into reloading I’m gonna be trying Nosler bullets in this platform
Using 42.5 gr of imr 4895 and 178 gr ELD-X bullets in Hornady brass. I go 1/2" groups out of a new PA-10.
Awesome!
I get about the same with 168gr SMK 👍
Outstanding video presentation !!!!!! Kudos to you and that PSA 10 with upgrades
Thank you! Hope you stick around for more!
we shoot the reman 168 hpbt bullets. out of a gen 2 ar10 grouping was the biggest 1.5 to an .75 moa at 100 yards. Upon a revaluation after the 1.5 moa was achieved the screws on the scope mount had worked them selves loose. So we used some locktight and secured the mount better and we shot again. This time we .5 moa to 1moa. About the mount it was a cheap one from amazon and has been replaced since. This rifle shoots a consistent 1 moa at 100 yards. Palmetto made a winner.
Good to hear you like the rifle!
I have a Gen 3 with a Geissele SSA trigger and found it likes plain old PMC bronze 147 gr. It's still pretty new with
Nice!
mine likes ball and loves 150gr soft points (Norma and Hornady whitetail). Academy Sports in my area always has Norma 150 soft points in stock.
Yeah those Norma softpoints are really good. They work wonders on medium sized game
Mine also loves 150gr hornady whitetail. I was surprised because it mostly likes 175gr so far
I've had my PSA 10 6 or 8 years now. I stuck the vortex scope on that everyone said was a must. I forget exaclty what 147gr ammo it was. I was doing good for 8" at 100yds. I stuck the rifle in the corner and haven't messed with it since. I do have 6 other ammos to try. I guess I need to break it out.
Give it a try!
Used the freedom 168 amax was very pleased, had a 3/4to a 1 in group at a 100 yrd range .I've always shot 165 168 grain out of my 308 3006 and always been very happy. Great job keep them coming
Thanks for checking it out! FM makes some pretty good Ammo, I’ve been pretty impressed👌
I'm blowing primers with the freedom 168.
Bullet weight has a close correlation with barrel twist rate. That would explain why different weight ammo could be wildly different. Also, factory bullet velocity can affect the shot placement and different barrel lengths can change the accuracy of a single brand of ammunition. It’s good you tried different ammo though because it showed you what your rifle likes the most, so now you just have to stock up on that ammo, redo the zero for that ammo to make sure it’s dead on, and then from there the more you shoot the better you will do as long as you maintain your shooting fundamentals. I would suggest getting a laser range finder and finding private land to shoot on so you’re not on a time limit at the range. Then you can set targets up using the range finder to put targets from 100m to about 800m and start practicing stretching out the distance.
Yup, you’re spot on. I’ve learned a lot on this topic since the video was published and it was definitely an experience. Thanks for watching!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems absolutely man, I do like how through you are with what you find out. I thought I learned enough when I was in the military but I ended up working at a local tactical shop and learned even more from the armor/gunsmith that worked there. I’ve been into this stuff for about 20 years and I’m just now building my first AR15. I’m thinking about trying an AR10 build next but there is a whole mess of differences, including completely different platforms within the AR10 realm that use completely different components, and everyone I know that builds says it’s easier to buy one off the shelf… so they got me second guessing myself
@@christopheravery5808 Honestly if I were to do it over again after learning with this gun, I’d say you can build one as long as you understand that timing is gonna be a factor you need to consider. If you watch any of my other PA-10 videos, you’ll see I had issues with overpressure. It was eventually resolved by slowing down the bcg via an adjustable gas block in tandem with a high pressure bolt with a different firing pin diameter, a heavier buffer and buffer spring. It’s a common occurrence in many LR308’s including those off the shelves. It’s just the name of the game. I’ve had so many people reach out to me via DM or in the comments with different rifle brands, store bought or built all exhibiting the same issues. It can be solved, but LR308’s are tedious and require a willing tinkerer. I’d say if you built one, go with a rifle length gas system and rifle length buffer system. No carbine length’s if I were to do it again. Then install a good adjustable gas block, Superlative Arms, POF Dictator or Riflespeed gas block. In my experience AR10/LR308 rifles don’t work reliably without an adjustable gas block. Just my experience. Others may vary. Hope that helps!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems I would probably go with rifle length for something like this anyway, I would be setting it up as a DM rifle.
Love an actual accuracy video. However... I'd include all "flyers", unless you call it at the time of firing before looking down range.
Yeah I wasn’t quite sure what should or shouldn’t be counted, thus why I wrote down the size with and without the flyers. Just in case I was making some kind of mistake haha! Thanks for watching!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems maybe what I would have done personally. Pick 2 of the best loads by whatever reckoning you wish. And re-shoot a group with them to confirm that high watermark.
This being said, other reviewers do seem to be having good accuracy from these gen 3 guns! Similar to your non flyer results.
Exactly a flyer is called the second u pull the trigger before you see where it hit
I have found that my PA-10 really likes the American Marksman Bullets 1st 147gr for cheap range days. 1-1.5 MOA reliably. Usually 2-2.5" groups at 150 (farthest my local range goes). Only changes are a Sprinco buffer spring and turning the gas block down 5 clicks.
Nice! Glad the rifle works great for you! Thanks for watching
Sooo glad i got the full rail @ freedom week sale. 570$ PA-10 has to be the best 308 deal of the year IMO.
Nice!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems armalite is dropping some 308 prices as well. I might get a tac16 to compare to my PA-10 on the channel 🤔
@@mobilegamersunite That would be an interesting comparison! Admittedly I haven’t seen an armalite out in the wild, even though they’re local!
@SabertoothDefenseSystems well they want 3k for a rifle...so I'm not surprised lol 😆 😂 🤣 but even they have to clearance old stock out for room....I got something in the works now, I'll know in the next 2 days if it's a go.
@@mobilegamersuniteRight on brother, feel free to let me know here if it works out. I’d be interested to see your results
I appreciate your great videos! You just got yourself a new subscriber.
Hey, I appreciate that! Hope you can hang tight for the next video coming soon
Good video. The groups aren't too bad with just a bipod and no rear stock support. The groups would probably tighten up more if the forend was resting on a large saddle type sandbag, and you had a rear bag under the buttstock.
Thanks for watching! Oh yeah, my bench shooting has definitely improved since the making of that video! Haha I look back and cringe a bit😂 Oh well, we all start somewhere I guess!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems please with your response. I am old and have been shooting since before the last ice age. Many people my age shoot no better. They have not learned to relax and let the gun work. They hold it and attempt to manage the wobble and control its recoil. Better to let things settle in before you stroke the trigger..
Love thr intro music! Not many people know who Red is.
Ah a fellow fan! Yup it’s one of the best kept secrets in music🤌 my favorite band without question
I appreciate you focusing on stats. Good vid.
No prob! This is an older video, I’ve learned much more since so I can be much more in depth now that when I posted that video
Piece of advice when adjusting your ocular lens... Start out with it at max magnification and the parallax set to infinity if the scope allows. Close your eye let your eye relax and while your eye is close make an adjustment (this is where having two people is handy) open your eye no longer than 2-3 seconds and look at the reticle(having a blank background like the sky or white piece of paper is best) and only your reticle if it looks worse close your eye and twist it the other way than you did the previous time and in the beginning you can use huge course adjustments till you get close to pretty good but not perfect reticle. As you adjust back and forth make finer and finer adjustments till the reticle is sharp and no fuzziness closing your eye between each adjustment and not leaving your eye open for more than 2-3 seconds. The reason you do this if you look at something long enough your eye will begin to stretch and contort to focus what you are looking at but that is not what you want you want the optic focused to your eye relaxed. I am sure some good videos exist that show this and explain it even better than I do. Nice shooting!
Wow, great comment. I’ll be sure to write it down! There isn’t a way to adjust parallax on this lpvo, which honestly I’m not sure if you can adjust parallax on any lpvo🤔 But I’ll try this with any new long range scopes I get. Thanks for the tips, and thanks for watching!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems It was meant for all scopes my LPVO's do not have parallax adjustments either but my higher powered one do. For the most part on an LPVO you are not shooting out to a grand where parallax is going to make a much more significant difference. I learned this from a real precision shooter and now when I look through people's scopes and see how trashy the reticle is I share that little tid bit but I always just adjusted it in one go instead of closing the eye and only opening for a bit. Vortex does pod cast and I think they go over it in depth also.
Love to see another local on the TH-cam, good video 👍
I hit Ben Avery at least twice a month
Thanks for watching! Who knows you might run into me at some point! 👍
Have you noticed? There is always a flyer on most of your groups....so heat factor must be kept in mind....so...keep a group of 3 or check your barrel for copper build up at the gaz port.
Interesting. I appreciate the points
Thank you for your well made video.
Thanks for checking it out!
Nice review man! I was looking at that scope for one my Ar .308’s I have 4. My only suggestion to you is’ for precision shooting especially groups you would do a lot better with a scope with higher magnification like a 6-24x50 or 5-25x56. If you have a higher power scope I almost guarantee you will get better groups with more magnification. Of course someone will say you can do it with the scope you have on it now’ but I’ve seen people get tighter groups with that rifle with a higher magnification scope and similar ammo. If have you have another scope I would try again’ you might be surprised.
Thanks for checking out the video! Yeah that’s something I thought of and I’ll most likely do a follow up video with a higher power scope!
Ben Avery right down the road just ordered my blem ar10 from psa
Nice!
Good video. I have a Gen 2. If you have not upgraded the trigger and added a muzzle break, please try that. I have Good results from just a little effort.
I added a rise armament flat trigger and a Surefire muzzle brake, which were both used in the video. I think the accuracy is totally acceptable for the price of the gun. And I’m sure the accuracy will also improve as the barrel is broken in! But yeah, I like the rifle! I’m pretty happy with it so far! Thanks for watching!
Federal gold medal 175gr Sierra mkhp
I’ll try it out!
Nice video would like to see an in depth review on the scope you are the only one on TH-cam that has this scope on a gun
Absolutely! Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten! That video is dropping soon and will be as in depth as possible! Thanks for sticking around!
The 308 is fun, but have you ever thought about throwing a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel on that AR-10? Awesome video. Thanks!
The thought is there for sure, but I’ve always had more luck finding more .308 and 7.62x51 then 6.5 Creedmoor, so for the time being I’ll stick with .308. However I’d love to have some time behind the 6.5 creedmoor to see what all the hype is about!
Great video. I shot mine yesterday using Ammo 7.62 150g. I feel like the cheaper or lower grain makes a good match for my pa10 factory straight out the box. Groups were 1.5 moa shot at 100yrd using a 2.5-10 Burris Fullfield. I only used the lowest 2.5 mag setting.
Nice! Thanks for watching!
Palmetto state has the Norma ammo on sale for 14.99 for Memorial Day sale. If you are looking for more
Wooooo, thank you for the heads up good sir!
Not anymore. 😄
My gen 3, 18" is getting about .8 to 1 MOA with AAC Precison and Gold medal match.
Nice!
@SabertoothDefenseSystems have you done any precision testing since breaking in the barrel? People don't consider that if a stainless barrel isn't nitrided, then it can have a break in period. I shot about 80 rounds of 150 grain AAC then 20 full power 7.62x51. Then did my 168gr. AAC precision and 168gr. Fed gold medal match. That was all done without a lead sled or bi pod. Just s rucksack in a super awkward position. PSA is doing really well. Especially Especially with price. I will say that the upper and lower could he a more snug fit. Along with the stock/buffer tube fit. Other than that. I love it.
@@Wade-1 I did. After the break-in even with the 168gr gold medal match I was consistently getting 1.5” groups. I upgraded to a faxon gunner barrel, as it was lighter and I wanted this gun for hunting. After that one broke in, the best I’ve got was 1.4”. Still not bad. With handloads this thing could more than likely perform sub-MOA consistently
glad you shot so many. norma was the best out of mine as well except for the match which is $2 each
Yeah it was such a great load! Gold Medal Match was great too, I can see why it’s pricey! Hope you liked the video. I’ll post another long term accuracy video along with a video on its reliability!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems I plan to do the same. Give the barrel a few more rounds and she should start shooting a bit better. I had a sniper instructor shoot mine again a couple weeks ago and he brought some of the military 175 and some norma match 175 and it was easily a 1 moa group. he fired a string of 168's (fed match) and 4 of 5 were touching. The 3rd round went almost an inch and spoiled the group. He looked at me and said, it felt good and then we looked at the chrono and it was 100ft per sec slower or so. He lamented that he had probably failed perfectly good snipers because of a round and not the shooter. Did you get a chance to watch my video on the 400 yd line?
I've never had good results with SIG ammo in any caliber, pistol or rifle
Good to note, that seems to be a general consensus among people. Thanks for the feedback
Me either. Stuffs junk
I was guessing Ben Avery before you mentioned. Love that range, but I live up north now so it's not my range anymore!
Hell yeah! It’s been good to me, before Ben Avery I used to go to Rio Salado all the time
Looking forward to you're hog hunting videos.
I've been running a pa10 gen 3 for the same reason.
I get about 2 moa at 100yr with mine but im a shotgun guy for the most part and not a sharp shooter at all.
Yeah, that’s seems to be the consensus on accuracy with this gun! If you want to check out some of the hog hunting footage already, go check out my review on the Sig MSR scope I posted. I used this rifle with that scope and it shows some of the pigs I took out! And footage from that hunt! Some of my footage got lost via technical issues with my phone so that’s about all there is for now until I can figure out how to recover some of the footage! Thanks for watching!

nice review. what was the barrel length, 18 or 20?
Thanks for checking it out. Barrel length was 20”
Thanks for the video! I just got my Sig Tango MSR 1-10 in the mail to mount on my AR-10. There's no reticle information that I can find. Did yours come with any?
Awesome man! You’ll like the scope! In my unboxing video I showed the manual and how I was unable to find any reticle information! That’s the one downside and where SIG dropped the ball. Ben Avery for the win!
Yup!
I have one and of all things it loves Aguilla 147gr. the best.
Good to know! Thanks for watching!
Bro, that is awesome. I also loved in Arizona and was at Ben Avery last Saturday and I was sighting in my AR10 pistol in 308. I have been testing the SIG MSR 1-6 power. Good to see another Arizonian with the wonderful AR10 platform. I also have a SIG Tread 716i in 308 with the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8 seconds focal plane. That is awesome too. How did your brass look coming from the gun? Does the brass look good to reload?
Sweet! Yet another person saying good things about the Sig 716i. I might need to pick one up at some point! Yeah the AR10 platform freakin rocks, so glad I decided to take the plunge and pick one up! Absolutely, all of my brass was collected for reloading. No dings, nicks, scratching or deformities, the brass looks just as it should! Thanks for watching!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems fantastic! My only disliked to the SIG is very hard to customize. When the charging handle is SIG only. It is reliable just can't customize much. If you are like me and like to customize I would not recommend the SIG unless you love How it is set up from factory. You can change trigger, buffer springs, sights, and butt stock. But barrel, handguard, charge handle, bolt and receiver are all propietary. That why I am building my own AR10s now. I like having the ability to repair and customize as I wish.
@@jeffgenchi5863 Ok, thanks for the heads up! I definitely like to customize my own stuff so I’ll definitely keep that in mind!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems if you want a reliable AR10 that is military grade out of the box the SIG is the best option. It just works.
I saw your other video. You said you used a laser to bore sight then didn't get hits at 50 yards then discovered you were 8" high. I recommend pulling your BCG and looking through the barrel at 25 yards to zero. That will really reduce your ammo for zeroing. Questions: what is MSR, and what is LVPO? (I'm a bolt action guy, never heard those terms before) Mainly interested in that scope. Big sig kilo fan.
I used a laser boresighter at home and the furthest I could see the laser was probably 15 yards, I did it just to make sure my windage was good enough which it was but I definitely had to adjust the elevation as you saw! I will definitely try that method next time! MSR is just they’re acronym for Modern Sporting Rifle and LPVO is Low Power Variable Optic, being optics that have a low magnification around 1x which is similar to running a red dot without magnification, all the way to 10x in this case.
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems ahhh. Thank you. Makes sence!
Another trick with the laser, turn your lights down low in your house. You can watch your laser move up and down the reticle when looking down a hallway. Using the wall, run the lazer down the hall then back up. Sorta turned on some light bulbs on for me when discussing close range. Thanks. Cheers.
How is the 1x performance from the MSR? Very close to true 1x or do you get some magnification? Also, any fisheye or odd shifts within the lenses? A good way to test it is to look at power lines or straight wall/line objects & slowly move left/right/up/down to see if there are breaks within the lines/objects as you move the scope on them.
Don’t worry, I’ll be releasing a review on the scope very soon explaining it all. I’ll say for now that 1x is pretty close to true 1x, and no there are no odd shifts in the lenses. Stay tuned for the full video on the scope itself!

hey man do you like that bulky stock? like it doesnt get in the way of getting close for better view down the glass?
It’s my favorite stock! It didn’t come with the rifle, I ended up putting this one on it after I bought the gun. Not bulky at all actually. Doesn’t impede seeing through the optic!

Im curious to know what the barrel profile looks like on this rifle. Perhaps I missed it. I always likes the 168 grain sierra match king type bullet. I dont think that group size is all that bad for an autoloader. Certainly good enough for deer hunting up here in New England. Great vid! thanks!!
It’s a heavy profile barrel. I removed it and put a faxon gunner profile 18” 1-10 barrel and it shaved a significant amount of weight off the rifle! Shoots tighter too! Update coming soon!
I bought one 3 weeks ago, she’s a shooter, 1/4 moa at 100 yds using federal premium msr ammo 150gr. No issues with it, love it. Want to ask what muzzle brake you have on yours and if it helped you with the recoil. I just ordered the same charging handle from them.

What are your feelings on the charging handle now?
Why do some of the gen 3 have the stainless barrels??? Which are better?
They sell a variety of options, different barrel lengths and some have stainless steel and some nitride! I’m not one to really know the difference in performance between the two! I’m sure there’s a video on TH-cam somewhere that talks about it, but I don’t really know🤷🏻♂️

I think you were selling yourself short on that 200 yard target. That's a 100 yard sight in target so each of those squares is 1/2 MOA at 200. Pretty sure that Norma group is 1/2 MOA and the Win group is about 1 MOA if I'm looking at the target correctly.
Incorrect. This is a 100 yard target, with the instructions being visible at the top of the target: Each square measures 1 inch. This testing was performed at 100 yards, not 200 yards. Additionally each group was later measured with calipers to confirm the size
I’ve got basically the same rifle, the kit I got came with a 2 stage trigger and adj has block. What do you think of that scope?
The scope has been excellent! I have an entire review on it! Just look at my page for the Sig Tango MSR 1-10x!
I’m no optics expert, does the 1-10 only allow you to magnify more ie see further or are there other benefits of the 1-10 as opposed to the 1-8 or 1-6?
I got a er15 s w want 2 put a tri pod on it

I know you're releasing the video soon, but really curious about the eyebox, as I'm looking to buy a 34mm cheaper 1-10 quick. Haha little preview? Good, tight, forgiving? Anything helps. Side to side and up and down at 1x is what I'm really curious about. Ive had the swampfox 1-10 and it was very nice but has a very tight eyebox
Hey man. Haha I get it. Here’s the down and dirty. At 1x the eyebox is very forgiving, think eye relief of the primary arms lpvo’s. You can be far away from the glass , technically face behind the stock and still see the reticle. If the reticle is illuminated you can use it basically like a red dot. 10x it’s definitely tighter, cuz that’s just how 10x is on lpvo’s. But it’s not unbearable like some people are claiming. I’m still around 4 inches away from the glass at 10x magnification and can still make snap shots with it. Just takes training. All in all I would 100% go for it if you’re looking for a more budget 1-10. Not to mention you have the awesome sig warranty! $500ish for the 1-10x with a mount. Go for it! Stay tuned for the video👌

Does anyone know what kind of muzzle device comes standard with this gun? Looking at compensators to help with the kick and would like to be able to compare the default device to the new ones.
Mine came standard with an A2 birdcage flash hider… so you’re gonna need to buy a brake. In this video I used the Surefire Pro-Comp 7.62 on mine and it did a fairly decent job. If you want maximum recoil reduction, go Lantac Dragon or Dead Air Brakes.
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems thanks for your quick response and quality content! I actually figured it out after finding your other video of the unboxing.
@@stankworm9982 Awesome! Glad you found the other video! I’d say the Surefire Pro-Comp is definitely good for the price, but other brakes will compensate a bit better! Hope that all helps!
@@SabertoothDefenseSystems it definitely does! Doing some research trying to find a brake that won’t cause my range-neighbors shirts to combust. Lol
bought one recently and not only were mags falling out of the gun but the bolt release didn’t work either, replaced those parts before i even fired it for the first time and low and behold on the last safety check it fired out of battery , checked again and the trigger would fire even if the bolt was around a half inch out of battery, entirely dangerous and shitty to do to your countrymen as a u.s. based company.
Wow that’s simply unacceptable. Did you send it back?
That’s a Blemished lower for sure, handgrip area ?
No it isn’t, the attachment point for the pistol grip just has a different geometry, but it fits securely. The magpul grip has beaver tail on it, just doesn’t match up 100% with the geometry of the LR308 lower. Not blemished at all
If every group has a flyer it’s not a flyer! It’s the group
Makes sense
How did u mount the tripod
MLok that came on the Magpul Bipod!
What's missing me off is I went shooting at 100 and got it to a quarter size group. Haven't been able to since. 100 yards with a .308 you should be hitting a quarter every shot at 200 a little bigger but not much. A .308 is an amazing round, this platform is making me angry as f
Definitely not a bolt action so don’t expect bolt action performance
You NEED to use more sand bags rather than relying on a bi pod. Your groups will tighten up.
Much has changed since the filming of this video. Bags are what I use to group
Is this 18" or 16" barrel?
Mine was a 20”
What stock is that
Magpul SL stock
Sucks that that grip is so far off in terms of tolerances
It works great and it’s solid, doesn’t wobble or anything it’s just that the actual backstrap of the lower receiver is a steeper angle than that of the grip itself. Still compatible without any issues
What caliber?
308
Aero precision it seems better ...
Aero makes good stuff! Thanks for watching!
Have you taken this rifle hunting yet?
Yes, check out the SIG 1-10x review, I show footage and hunting results in it
My man,..,.,. Tisk tisk. Large frame AR's are one of the more difficult things to shoot accurately and precise. I agree about "accuracy" reviews being largely irrelevant. Esp with these things. If you want a few tips. Or anyone that bothers to read this. Use front AND rear bags. Get some 10rd mags. Use your four fingers on trigger hand to gently pull the buttplate into your shoulder. Concentrating on maintaining the same shoulder to stock pressure with each shot. Your trigger finger should be bent and squeezed back at an angle exactly 90° to the rifle. If your not hearing the trigger reset after each shot. You are not following through correctly. Don't slap the trigger. You want a natural point of aim. In other words. If your flexing or moving the cross hairs to put them on the bull. It isn't sitting right in the bags. You want the rifle to be aiming directly where your aiming with ZERO input from yourself. Maintain the same eye position for every shot. Which will eliminate any paralax error. Some rifles seem to shoot better with the the off hand holding the forearm. Some do not. Try both ways. And a good aftermarket trigger will make a world of difference for us folks not named Tubbs or Litz. As stupid as it sounds. Tuning the gas block to as low as you can and maintain reliability makes a big difference on paper. Why? A bunch of reasons no one wants to hear.
One more tip. Load six rounds if your shooting five round groups. Keeps pressure on the carrier for each shot. I have no advice for you on the bipod as I am terrible with them and prefer to work on the bags as it's hard enough to be consistent as is.
Thanks for the input
My PA-10 Gen 3 likes 180gr rounds. Every barrel is different 🤷♂
Exactly. Moral of the story is to test your own gear and see what works best. Nonetheless, the accuracy out of this gun is still great for the price!
Not bad at all, I wouldn't want to be the target on any of those ammos.
Thanks for watching!
man i just wish i had a good place to shoot
Hopefully you find one!
Dude in the background is ancient... 99 and still 100😂
😂
Put that green bag under your stock and your groups will shrink to an inch.
Much has been learned since the filming of this video and hate to say that even bagged the groups did indeed not shrink to under an inch. Later swapped barrels to a Faxon 18” Gunner barrel and got the tightest group of 1.3” but never an inch or sub
no bypod is better than a shitty one
Ok
Your hand grip doesn't fit
Actually it does, just has some extra space since it’s a large frame receiver. But ok🤷🏻♂️
Rimington 150 psp you cannot beat it.
Good to know thanks!
