Hey Rusty, I started my own company over an year ago, I had a place help me apply for my plates, they do my quarterly IFTA as well meaning I don't have to go anywhere or do anything, there should be places like that in Florida that helps you register everything but make sure you don't go to a shady place &- best of luck with your new journey
Would love to see the maintenance videos you say are so boring. It was very insightful watching your repair along the way but basic, minor jobs are very helpful to those learning.

Believe it or not, I just drove my truck to my local DMV to register it but your right, there is a lot to do before you can get on the road. Glad you ditched the Lease Operator, that was giving away too much $$$ to someone else. Let’s have a great 2023.
All u have to do is make sure u have insurance inspection mc number ifta and your passport and cdl to register it in Arkansas. I transferred my title from Texas since I paid my lease purchase off. You gotta also pay tax. Mine was $800 for my 2016 579
Heres your issue . Check engine light already lit so if something is wrong with something else like the engine your not going to know until it grinds to a halt because light is already on
Love the trucks Domestic Number. 420 baby! On a serious note as a truck driver here in Sydney, Australia, I find the FH Volvo cab overs to be great prime movers to drive. I power past many other trucks here on serious gradient hills on my trips back to Sydney loaded to the hilt with wine. so on average a solid 35 tonne odd total weight.

I just fixed an ambient temp issue on a Mack. Check the wiring harness for broken wires. It sent a signal when the hood was open but when I closed it, it lost signal. Found a pinched wire in the harness between the the connector from the split, to the sensor. No ambient sensor will cause regen issues

Sc we do it online even with new registration. Then the main dmv approves it and sends your approval. Then you go to a dmv that handles irp and ifta. Closest one to me was 20 mins.
Truck looks good. Few thoughts. Truck 420 is funny and all except you are under federal laws which don't play around with that. You are asking for a DOT cop to give you an extra good inspection. I'd change it. The actual dot numbers look kinda small, they need to be 2" minimum and visible from 50 feet. Good luck!

I like volvo they're comfortable to drive 13 years ago when I was in CDL school the truck they had was a VNL760 with a 18 speeds

68 mph are nuts! Here in Europe max speed for trucks driving in the European Union, EFTA and EEA are 56 mph/90 kmh.

If you need a factoring company I highly recommend Apex out of Fort Worth Texas they only charge you 3 1/2%.

In texas you can register semi in regional service center you dont need to go in capital
Illinois has specific DMVs for just trucks all over the state.
65-70 is always the best on fuel no matter what vehicle you drive. Also best for the range on EV’s.
