Best album available today . A variety of rock styles from Maneskin . Choc full of rock ballads to soft rock , hard rock and some metal in there . I've got the album and it's simply awesome ! Deserves multiple Grammy Awards, it's that good . Enjoy man !

Great reaction. In general, I agree with you. The songs in Italian are much more complex, because the lyrics are poetic and full of meaning and for the musical construction. Damiano knows how to write and knows how to hit you emotionally with words. Those in English are much simpler, provocations made to have fun and entertain. It is on "For your love" that I disagree: it is much more than just a song about sex. Technically it is, but musically it is excellent and has a strong emotional impact.
Thanks so much! Damiano is a great songwriter, and he puts a lot of passion into his lyrics. The bandmates are also great at giving his words that big stadium feel. I still wouldn’t call For Your Love my favorite track on the record, but the instrumentation is pretty sweet, and Damiano carries so much desire in his delivery 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I agree with In Nome del Padre as my favourite but I raise For Your Love as my other favourite… The voice handling and the instrumentation transmit the content of the lyrics and way more. The live version at Live1 is fire. I also think IWTBYS has way more meaning that it seems, the duality (could be either in bed or in life) the redemption not just of “bad” characters but of blond girls as well. Together with the video I feel sends a message of diversity and acceptance. This album was ready to be released even before Sanremo, Ventanni was launch as 1st single in Oct 2020 so I am not sure how much they were preparing for a North American market. They entered Sanremo in Dec 2020 and their odds of winning were pretty slim. They won Sanremo in March 2021 and then they launched the album. Eurovision was in May that was also with slim odds. I am pretty sure they would had make it to the states but not at the speed that Sanremo and Eurovision gave them.
With the way you describe it, I may have to check out the live version of For Your Love and the video for IWBYS Also, I'm very curious to learn more about what Sanremo is!

Some Maneskin songs deserve a little more of a full play, both as a reaction and as a way to show listeners/viewers details they may not otherwise appreciate. Coraline would be an example of one that deserves more of a deep dive.
