Bomani I warned you about this guy before, some of the information he is giving you are totally false, why do you keep using him? All lands in Ghana belongs to the state with the chiefs as overseers, he stated that there are some contracts that no one or business can bid for it and it goes goes directly to international companies is wrong also, the government sometimes need funds from outside and that is where they seek out foreign organizations that will be interested in supporting them in that effort and do joint ventures with them . The railway issue is an Ecowas project to connect West African countries, so in that case its a consortium of West African countries including Ghana Burkina Faso, Niger and other countries building their portion of the line to join together at a certain point. What this guy is saying is BS, when there is a project like that with multiple countries in the ecowas, each country has to find the money to build its portion of that development, those type of projects are mostly roads and railway lines. These countries can get the money from any source they want, not bound by any restrictions. Totally false about the bauxite issue also. The 2billion dollars Ghana borrowed from china was to build a smelting plant in Ghana to turn the bauxite into Aluminum which Ghana can sell at a higher price in the world market instead of the traditionally selling only the raw material for cheap. It will be the first aluminum smelting plant in Ghana, allowing Ghana to sell finished aluminum products to the world instead of bauxite a raw material for less. Infact China will be coming to Ghana to build the smelting plant, it is part of the package using Ghanaian workers. Find a better person, he is full of garbage.
