Different wavelengths of light focus at different distances. An effect like this is more pronounced closer to the focal point (such as when looking at a phone screen up close). Most notably with red and blue contrast, this effect is called chromostereopsis.
I can't begin to explain how delightful it was, when I first discovered Will Wood last year. Love this high energy madman, he's such a treasure with his bizarre yet captivating music. Thanks for sharing a bit of your madness with us, Will. ✌️💖
