My favorite Zoom Lizard is the Black Body with Blue Tail, caught a ton of big bass with that.

One of the definite highlights of YT, never saw an episode that didn't give good advice on fishing or fail to entertain, it's impossible not to appreciate someone this genuine in what they do.

A long time ago in my teenage years when I was 16 good ol Walmart use to sell the pb and j 4 inch zoom lizards and they we're deadly! Now they stopped selling them so it back to solid black or chartreuse, but I always learn something from the fishing machine and enjoy his videos!

Try a bluegill that's weighted forward .
Lizards work for me, and I'm up north. ZOOM, Cotton Candy.

I fish the same style but with a 1/32oz pop eye jighead and a bonehead tackle stump bug (looks like a little crawfish) and catch a mess of crappie during spawn. Every now and then I’ll hook into a big bass 😂
6th Sense Hogwalla is a great bait to use also.

That’s what I was thinking, imitating aquatic salamanders. When I was a kid in the sixties and early seventies the old timers called them hellbenders, maybe just a regional thing? They also called crappies calico bass! South Michigan thing?
Real hellbenders are bigger than most bass. Crazy looking things,super rare.
