I enjoyed watching your video of Dominican Republic. I lived in the Dominican Republic for two years doing mission work. I really miss the food. Thank you for showing the real DR life. I remember some folks had only a dirt floor in their home.

Very fun! All I kept thinking about were the hurricanes they’ve endured…. I’ll probably never go on a cruise, so it’s always fun when you share your travels. I might go on an Alaska cruise or train across Canada, but that’s about it left for me to do.

In spite of the rain I think DR was a beautiful place. And the people in the villages seem very nice people. Lunch and dinner looked yummy. The wild truck handled that mud like a boss😂 ❤❤❤

Thanks for taking us on along on another cruise Will and Dawn! How does cell phones work on a cruise? Do you need to buy the internet package to be able to have wifi to communicate with each other orb with your party on board or whenever you are on an island?

I loved the countryside tour some of those houses were very cute, it makes you appreciate paved roads though!

I have 2 questions please
Question #1 - You take a bus to visit. Is it purchased directly at the port or is it a Norwegian excursion? (the price please)🏖🚌
Question #2 - At the port, have you seen a place where people pay little to spend time with the little monkeys?🐒🐵🤔
Their is a place where you can play with the 🐒 . You have to book the bus ahead of time.

when you were on that excursion in the DR, I remembered a LOT of those same scenes! From November 25-December 3 on Carnival my excursion in the DR was up to the Statue of Christ and we went almost that exact same route.

I loved seeing the cows walking down the street. The tour was very interesting, too bad there was so much rain. I really dislike plantains, they just don't taste good to me, give me a fried banana any day. I'm enjoying your cruise! Thanks

Happy Birthday Will! Dawn, you look good in the color black you were wearing at the end. The Dominican Republic is gorgeous and scenic, but the government needs to concentrate on building better roads for its citizens. Your tour guides all had such a welcoming aura about them.

Very poor country! Went to Dominican Republic on a cruise once but visited Columbus Memorial and Santa Domingo.

I did a similar excursion in Dominican Republic. That is where I lost my glasses out the back of the bouncy truck, went the rest of the trip blind, lol!
We visited the exact same Cocoa farm too, small family owned. My favorite thing was eating the cacao fruit straight from the plant.
I was really surprised that the cacao fruit tastes just like watermelon jolly rancher! I think I still have some cacao and coffee in the cabinet from there!
At one of the stops, there was a guy with a huge snake, I got photos of my kids holding the snake (for tips).
We went to the same lunch buffet, I think I just had the chicken, lol!

Enjoyed this so much! We go Punta Cana DR to a resort Baha’i Principe Fantasia or Esmalrada , always have a great time but never spend time away from resort. I love their coffee from DR, this was fun to watch! thanks

I think it's great to do tours like this one to see the culture and how island life is in the Dominican Republic. Glad you didn't get left behind! Dinner on the ship is always good! You'll have to cruise a smaller ship and compare. Dawn l❤ve your outfit at dinner! Your not boring Will order what you like! Dawn your meal looks yum! I like the smaller dessert portion too. Looks like a great time!

So excited the DR video is here. I broke my shoulder so I’ve been laid up off from work awaiting surgery this week and your videos have allowed me to escape. Always enjoy your videos but the tropics have been nice change. The buildings in the DR remind me of Puerto Rico. I don’t blame you on the steak, Will, I’d order steak every dinner too. Dawn surprised me with the pork. Dawns face was priceless after the shot at the roadside gift shop. No critic needed the look she had told it all. Thanks for sharing. Love you guys!! Time to head back to the mountains.
