Don't get rid of your hobby equipment!!! Some day you will have time again, maybe you'll retire, and if you sell off your equipment, you'll kicking yourself! When I retired, I got into my various hobbies and crafts and I haven't had a boring minute in 6 years so far! You are right, your loyal followers will always be there for you! I'm one of them!

So glad to see you on a video again. Life does get busy and we need to spend time with our families as we never know what's around the corner and our kids grow up so fast. My youngest is into horses, she has five, she's just turned thirty and I wonder where the time went.
I was only thinking the other day how pathetic I am as I check about once a week for you and a few others from the UK and the USA I enjoy watching. Simon has also been missing for a while but put up a video the other day. 😊

It's nice to see you back. YT filming, etc, takes more time and energy than folk realise. If you've got to work, you've got to work. That's just the way it is. During lockdown, a lot of people reconnected with hobbies they'd let slip due to work taking priority. It was probably the only benefit of the whole period. Totally agree with you on seizing the serenity moments. Thoroughly enjoyed the video. Anyway, as I said, it's good to see you back. All the best.

Fantastic to see a video from you Richard. Take your time, I know exactly what you mean re a busy full life. Do what you can when you. Anything is appreciated. We have children a couple of years younger than yours and we all like to ride, camp, airsoft (my son), deal with school, dogs, both full time careers, football training, rugby training, cricket training, lifeguard training, scouts......a spare minute is unheard of. Thanks for your efforts.

What I like about you and him is your approach and obvious sincerity, you both make content that it it is obvious that you enjoy, like I do. Hi, Richard. This is a great video. What a superb tent that is. I think a lot of the Wild camping channels have run out of ideas now, and are churning out repetitive videos, or diversifying into other areas. I would rather see good quality videos like this one as opposed to the run of the mill stuff that gets a bit tiresome with 10 minutes talking, 5 minutes chopping wood, then the rest of the video cooking. You mix it up, which keeps it interesting.
So good to see and hear from you Mr O. You could have simply sat out in the backyard and had a quiet cuppa and we’d have been content 😂.

Great to see your familiar face again. I understand this type of tent for trekking and saving weight, but I just don’t personally like a single skin tent. Condensation drips in low winds are just annoying. That table looks pretty good though. Certainly stabilises the pot for cooking on and not having to hold a top heavy cup.
You may have had a few lapses in technique but your positive attitude kept the "cringe monster" away.

Well I have to say Richard its really great to see you out & about again, you have such a lovely presenting style too, Simons been quite quiet this year too, maybe you two should do another get together soon.
As an additional thought, I wondered if your benevolent employer would allow any filming in your 'Upper Office' ? there is a YT channel called 'Approach & Departure Videos' you'll get the idea.
As for all your other interests, just do 'What you can, when you can', having Leukaemia taught me that.

I would have been interested to hear the "carry-on" portability of the UGreen powerbank. Is it within the power limits to carry on a commercial aircraft?
Ugreen products are generally well made powerful little devices, but no good to travel with if you can't carry it on.
Secondly, TH-cam as you highlight is not your sole income stream as it is for many creators, the planning, time and effort to create, edit to make videos (or anything for that matter), is often underestimated.
So it's appreciated what is uploaded, I liked your series on homemade dehydrated curries, for example! An Asian inspired pemmican next perhaps??

I have enjoyed all your videos and, as an intermediate TH-cam Content Creator, I can understand time limitations, constraints and also the chances to do things, when you can.
