Parker beats him, imo. Parker is a smart fighter and is very durable and willing to go deep into the late rounds while keeping up a fair amount of workrate and pressure. He might not be the hardest hitter in the division, but if he lands enough throughout the fight, Dubois may very well fold in the second half of the fight.
Parker can hit hard enough to hurt Dubois. I know chisora was past his best but still had a very good chin and Parker dropped him multiple times in that 2nd fight

Parker can and will hit and land often enough to cause Dubois big problems. Meanwhile, Parker has already seen off Zhang and Wilder so he isn't unfamiliar with defeating big hitters👍
You will see a new Parker in this fight….a heavier Parker who will sit on his punches more…I think this fight will be competitive and one that Parker can win if the ref STOPS Dubois headbutts and lowblows.
Yeah, def. a great fight to be happening at this moment mate... I really like Joe, but saw what you saw in the Zhang fight. And despite Joe's sweet boxing skills, I can't seeing him getting Dubois out of there - and DDD can go hard, seemingly all night if necessary... 🙏🏻
Parker is being overhyped by 2 recent wins that stylistically suited him. A finished Wilder who stands off and tries to pick you off with one shot which would never work vs Parker and Zhang who has slow feet and no gas tank. Parker has always been decent so winning these fights is no real shock I don’t see where he’s suddenly got so much better from. Will be a decent test but I expect Daniel to deal with him.

It’s interesting comparing Dubois resume to AJ at the exact same stage of their careers. Daniel going in vs Parker is the same stage as AJ going in against Klitschko but up to that point AJ’s best wins were Whyte, Brezeale and Martin. Compare that to Dubois who has wins over Miller, Hrgovic and Joshua as well as experiences thrown into the deep end against Usyk and Joyce. Daniel’s career is remarkable and very underrated up to this point with so much more still to come.
Good points! Joyce, Usyk, Miller, Hrgovic, AJ and Parker…those are some major names to have on his resume, even if 2 were losses and ones yet to take place. For such a young fighter and relatively few fights Dans got one of the best HW resumes

Mixed feelings on this one. I understand Dubois being a favourite. He's been on a good run and if he DID walk through Parker, I wouldnt be shocked. He's doubtlessly got youth on his side and is more likely to be on an upward trajectory than Parker. THAT SAID... I dunno if we should read into him looking a little fragile against Zhang too much. Especially given the way Zhang disposed of Joyce (who was thought to be durable, if nothing else). We can probably consider Zhang a very powerful fighter. I also think we shouldn't overlook Dubois' vulnerabilities. I know we're going years back, but he was thoroughly beaten by a very basic Joe Joyce. I also think Dubois had a bit of a close scrape with Lerena a couple years ago. I don't blame him for quitting against Joyce. His corner should've pulled him out to save him from that and it shouldn't have been allowed to continue with his eye in the state it was in. But I do think it showed mental weakness when he quit to Usyk. He looked like he pretty much ran out of ideas then took a knee. Bigger upsets have happened. I'd see it as a case of "over Parker at your peril". He's a solid contender with some good wins throughout his career.
The thing that has always frustrated me with Parker is he is super hesitant, rarely looks to take his man out when he has him hurt. Nice bloke, but definitely missing those qualities you see in his countryman, Opetaia. All that in mind, Jo has fast hands and better defensive responsibility than Hurgovic and AJ. So anything is possible. 🤷♂️

Parker outboxes Dubious every day of the week. Beating Miller in his return fight was nothing really to boast about and Dubious ate an enormous amount of right hands from Hrgovic. Neither of those wins were an impressive display of skill nor boxing acumen. Parker's victories over Wilder and Zang demonstrated a high level of ring IQ.
Personally, I think Dubois has been over-hyped since him quitting versus Usyk. Big Baby Miller was fat as hell and off his PEDs. He gave Dubois all he could handle until the very end of that fight. Hrgovic was never anything special. Everyone calling his the boogeyman of the division, why? He never beat anyone. Zhang beat him and he got a gift decision. Slow feet, doesn't hit hard, and isn't a talented boxer. Hrgovic is just durable, that's it. And Dubois was getting slaughtered until he started head-butting over and over. And yes, the AJ win was nice, but we all saw how awful AJ looked from the time the opening bell went. Hands down, looking tentative, boxing like a moron. I think most HWs in the Top 10 beat AJ senseless that night. That's how bad he looked. Dubois has a lot of holes in his game. He never moves his head. He's way too willing to resort to dirty tactics that will eventually cost him points. His footwork is suspect, especially when he hops into range. If you shut Dubois' jab down his entire offensive plan goes to crap. Oh, and he has been known to quit when the going gets tough. People seem to think he's been fully cured of that, but he's also never really been tested since the Usyk fight. Parker absolutely can give him a tough time, especially if Danny boy doesn't get to him early. The longer that fight goes the more trouble Dan is gonna be in.
Dubois gas tank is suspect! If he doesn't get Parker out there by round 6 then Parker can pick him apart.. even though Dubois went 12 rounds with Miller... Parker is a mover unlike Miller so I think that should be the gameplan, keep Dubois moving until he gasses out...
