I always thought that the wall of flesh was just there as like a creepy factor or rather just a piece to show the gruesome experiments they did but after this video, now the wall of flesh needs to be in the next game with that backstory
Based off the most recent trailer, it looks like it or something like it will either be the final boss or just one of many bosses. I believe there will be multiple bosses, the giant armed one, the wall of flesh, and hopefully one more to fir the symbol of three found in Christianity, a small theme found in the first game that could possibly be brought back to this game. The theme also fits as want they are doing is both holy and unholy. They are bring people back from the dead, something Jesus did to Lazarus and something he did himself. But in doing so they make monstrosities, demons even. This game is dark in ways I love. While dark theme are sad, there's just something that fascinates me. How something so terrible can be thought up and made into a story, and be enjoyable.

Hi, children are typically the targets of these science fiction stories because children biologically are much more adaptable and versatile. Their stem counts are at the highest they'll ever be and they're essentially (not completely) immune to many ailments and conditions which develop over time. In essence, they're better test subjects in every way. Especially for tests which are extremely unethical and produce mutagenic results (though those kind of results like in the game are not biologically possible).

After the first couple nights of being terrified hiding in my little camp from the mutants, I really had no issues in terms of scariness throughout the rest of the game- aside from that damn blob. First time I saw it I wasnt totally sure what I was even looking at, but after a few minutes of just kinda staring, I damn well nearly threw up

When you die, blood stops flowing and everything soon dries up, solidifying joints as well as muscle tissue. It's referred to as Necrosis, and that's why if you've ever seen a dead animal with its legs straight out, they don't bend or fall if you poke it anywhere. The whole body stays in the same shape it died in as a solid object

Great video, but the children were sacrificed in the artifact to bring others back to life (as seen in the ending or at least implied), a side effect of the resurrection includes mutations that could possibly turn into the mutants we see in game.
As for the SotF trailer the blob escaping is not possible as the map is a different location, but seen at the end of the latest trailer a blob like creature is seen, could be a similar mutation that caused the SotF one as well as the one in The Forest.
Remember watching a playthrough of markiplier, Bob and wade playing the forest, and when they got to the part with the blob thing, I think Bob literally went off to vomit, it was that gross.
Regarding the whole ethics (or should I say lack of) within Sahara, I recall Matthew Cross being fired because of unauthorized usage of work equipment. Which likely means the Power Artifact (the one that can take down a plane) and how it was currently set up in the game was all done behind Sahara’s back. They were clearly not okay with Cross doing something that would draw too much attention to the location and Sahara themselves.
The Blob? We called him "Cartmaaaaaaaaaaan!" Btw. is there any known way how the company got their supplies? Cause the only way in and out was deep down in caves, no cargo area or loading bay.
One beach on the map is littered with shipping containers marked with the Sahara logo. Additionally, we see some additional portion of the facility in the ending, regardless of _which_ ending is achieved. Seemingly, there is an above-ground or sea-level access for cargo vessels on the far side of the mountain range, but we just don't get to see it. The facility only doesn't connect to the peninsula, or rather, to the areas the cannibals can easily get to.
There is a crashed light helicopter at the bottom if the sinkhole. My theory is that a container ship would have a goods helicopter on board and would lower palettes of supplies down into the sinkhole.

SInce there is no cargo bay at the first half of the map or could be seen on the maps timmy has on his wall in the aftercreditscene, there must be a hidden cargo bay in a water cave and it must be huge. Also it's impossible that they could get everything for building in the mountain without digging it up at least for the parts of the facillity we can see in the first game so there must also be a bigger entrance for big machines on the second half.
Yea that's weird, I'm guessing the devs just didn't want to add a cargo bay so they might've just said it collapsed, my question is where tf do the personal stay? Like there's hundreds of them in the videos you find so where are there quarters?

i mean, that sounds cool but the scary thing about the body horror in the forest is the sudden realization of what youre looking at, like when you first see a mutant youre left in awe after just fighting normal tribals for most of the game, an entire biome full of that imagery is just not as impactful
when I watch the son's of the forest. it says that it's not the same Island and the island they landed the cannibal are far more advance than the peninsula cannibal. and as far as I know mutant can't swim so there is something much bigger out there and far worst! its just I can't see myself seeing that move in that state who knows. lol

In terms of likelihood for cause of death, I predict [suffocation]>[freeze]>[starvation] The first 2 would explain why there's no decomposition. If there's no oxygen left in the room or if it got frozen solid then it couldn't rot

I think it’s likely that the blob has starved to death after the facility’s downfall. After all the facility has been inactive for some time and all things need nutrients to survive and something with that much biomass would need quite a bit. It could probably survive for quite some time off of its own excess mass. However I think the fact that it is completely immobile despite having parts with intact structures alludes to it being long dead
I barely got into The Forest, it's a bit hard for me, but could this possibly be an Inside ending reference? Like a little indie to indie easter egg? I mean, a little kid turned into a many limbed blob in a shady facility... Either way, I'm loving it.
One of the endings includes Timmy pointing on a map to a second island: I suspect the blob and mutants from The Forest are unique to their biome, and Sons of the Forest have different problems than Blob contend with.
It’s probably dead by the time the player finds it. If it didn’t suffocate from having its airway blocked, it would undoubtedly die from starvation. It’s still a horrific thing regardless.
Given how it's not moving its free limbs and the fact that it's squeezed into that confined room, it's more than likely dead. I'd say it either suffocated under it's own weight or because it didn't have any room to expand for breathing.
This was pretty interesting, a little extra at times. Like the line where simply walking through the forest and seeing a tall red dude would drive you insane with a little much. But it was interesting regardless

i think its that all the kids were put in one room with maybe a few staff to protect them during the outbreak and better manage them, then they all combined while in the small room

This looks like the creature you become at the end of "The Inside" and really the more you think about it, the more connections you see between TheForest and The Inside like really go check the game
In the end of Son of the forest, we have learnt that the cube had the capability of traveling through different dimensions. I guess the "Ressurection Artefact" just take another version of yourself from a different dimension. But it also takes multiples parallel selves from not only one but many others selves. As you stated, the blob looks like it was formed with multiples bodies and virginia,armsy look like they are also formed from multiples bodies.

When I learned what was going on in the forest, I couldn't help but think of The Flesh that Hates from the scp series, especially the blob, it's all equally disturbing

The blob in the observation room is dead but there could be others that can barely move so they lay in wait to ambush anything going by but most likely they starve to death
I think it is long dead since it doesn't move, it probably got mummified in there. Many things in The Forest get more and more disturbing and depressing the more you think about them.

I think it’s likely that the blob has starved to death after the facility’s downfall. After all the facility has been inactive for some time and all things need nutrients to survive and something with that much biomass would need quite a bit. It could probably survive for quite some time off of its own excess mass. However I think the fact that it is completely immobile despite having parts with intact structures alludes to it being long dead
I barely got into The Forest, it's a bit hard for me, but could this possibly be an Inside ending reference? Like a little indie to indie easter egg? I mean, a little kid turned into a many limbed blob in a shady facility... Either way, I'm loving it.
One of the endings includes Timmy pointing on a map to a second island: I suspect the blob and mutants from The Forest are unique to their biome, and Sons of the Forest have different problems than Blob contend with.
It’s probably dead by the time the player finds it. If it didn’t suffocate from having its airway blocked, it would undoubtedly die from starvation. It’s still a horrific thing regardless.
Given how it's not moving its free limbs and the fact that it's squeezed into that confined room, it's more than likely dead.
I'd say it either suffocated under it's own weight or because it didn't have any room to expand for breathing.
I was hoping for at least the name of the kid or something, but this is all stuff you can easily discern for yourself through a quick tour of the lab.

This was pretty interesting, a little extra at times. Like the line where simply walking through the forest and seeing a tall red dude would drive you insane with a little much. But it was interesting regardless
When me and my friend were playing through the forest we thought it was best to give it the name “Billy” so whenever I saw the name and thumbnail of this video i screamed “BILLLY!!”
i think its that all the kids were put in one room with maybe a few staff to protect them during the outbreak and better manage them, then they all combined while in the small room

In the end of Son of the forest, we have learnt that the cube had the capability of traveling through different dimensions. I guess the "Ressurection Artefact" just take another version of yourself from a different dimension. But it also takes multiples parallel selves from not only one but many others selves. As you stated, the blob looks like it was formed with multiples bodies and virginia,armsy look like they are also formed from multiples bodies.
I forgot exactly how I did it but I remember I glitched into the blob

If you've watched sons of the forest trailer You can see this blob monster When the guy says get down son. while babies get thrown at them.
When I learned what was going on in the forest, I couldn't help but think of The Flesh that Hates from the scp series, especially the blob, it's all equally disturbing
Of all the things in the forest in my playthrough of this game, I was *this* close to throwing up when looking at the flesh aquarium

The blob in the observation room is dead but there could be others that can barely move so they lay in wait to ambush anything going by but most likely they starve to death
The forest story may have been short but boiii was it great
I think it is long dead since it doesn't move, it probably got mummified in there. Many things in The Forest get more and more disturbing and depressing the more you think about them.
