- A high-speed chase of a stolen Jaguar ended when the driver ditched the car in the middle of a street in South L.A. and ran away. The unoccupied car rolled down the street and ultimately stopped when it hit a light pole. Full story: abc7.com/chase...
First professional successful escape I've seen. The driver knew what they were doing.
Maybe fingerprints could identify the thief.

I live in Vegas and this is extremely rare. I certainly remember these chases every single day in California. By now the cops and thr crooks are professionals at hid point. Still amazed every time I watch.

cars brake on their own. it's a thing new cars can do now. the door closed on its own because of physics.

If the authorities would spend time on this one to catch the perp(s), maybe it would be a good example that even ditching a car in the underpass, or a parkade etc, doesn't always work.
