I eat a lot of wild cottontails here in the U.S. I was very impressed by the time and care he took in preparing that bunny. I don't think he realizes how much an American would pay to have that dish served just as he did. I'd pay $100...it serves three little people but is just enough for me.

All I'm curious about is I've always been taught to keep the animals calm and he spanks them and tosses them a couple times before dispatching to not make the meat tough, I'm confused lol.

Well, I may have been looking for videos of rabbits EATING peppers when I found this, but I like this too and I gotta say that is the most cleanly skinned rabbit I’ve ever seen. In the western world they just hack them apart. But you did the ears and tail so perfectly, it’s very satisfying to look at.
Well, your "western world" is very narrow take, our rabbits here are just like this, so I have no idea of your "western world" you are talking about. This is in EU area.
Forgot about this comment. I guess for clarification, in the USA and UK I have never seen a rabbit skinned with the ears and tail still on. 99% of the time they chop the head off completely before they skin it. This is the first time I’ve seen a full body skin like this and it looks clean and nice. I should have said USA and UK instead of “western world”.
This guy would be invaluable in lean times. He can make any meat delicious and appealing. The folks eating it rave about it and to be honest some of his pork dishes look amazing. Everything is super spicy but that’s par for the course there culturally and would set my mouth on fire.

Rabbit is actually a delicacy. I love it! Beef and pork are very overrated if you branch out at all. So many good meats like elk, wild boar, etc.

Yes obviously he cooks it, but there's no need to make it go through anymore pain than necessary. Cattle and chicken are supposed to slaughtered in a way that kills them near instantly so there's no pain

I have an understanding for the food chain, but there is no reason why he had to treat the rabbit physically as if it has no feelings! when he slammed that rabbit on the table & popped it on the head with his hand! All of that was unnecessary! & probably scared the rabbit, if he or anybody else is going to eat this rabbit the least he could do is treat this animal with respect before it has to die, so the human can live on by the nourishment of this rabbit loosing its life so another can live on, bottom line we should all have & treat the animals with respect, the rabbit should not be scared or stressed before killing it, at the least! There is no reason that animals that die for us to live should be treated with nothing less then the utmost respect physically & mentally!... this man has no feelings! But most of their (kind) don't have feelings, they seem numb to the feelings of the animals they kill to eat, maybe one day some person will catch this man with a trap & bang him around a little bit & scare him with an insensitive loud voice & then skin him & boil him in a pot!!!...I think we should try that! And the name of that dish would be called, insensitive human on a stick- ka- bob!..

Nice, i rarely seen any video that cook rabbit whole, mostly they are just legs or in stew pot.
