- It amazes me how mature and thoughtful these guys are. And it is a blessing that we get to watch them grow to be such great people and artist. I am so sure that these guys will keep growing ........ and I hope to be there to witness every bit of it.

Jimin is very smart, both intellectually and emotionally, just like Namjoon. they are similar in this aspect. we know from them that they love to talk to each other about anything and everything, they both have minds of a wanderer
I haven't known them since the beginning, but after watching The Rise Of Bangtan series many times, I've felt the weight they had to carry, especially RM. They were basically kids trying to work hard & succeed at what they loved doing, but at every turn they had to deal with so much pressure.
It makes me even more proud of them because they went beyond even their own expectations, while dealing with the endless hate & nonsense. And yet they kept telling their truths in their music & their music helped people. And it still does. Everyday I am happier listening to them & their music, their shows, etc. I am 54 years old & am still learning to love myself, which is difficult with chronic health issues. But it gives me something to strive for... wellness & love.
Not only we are similar in age but also in experience. I got to know them more through this channel and I also struggle with same issues. Hope to get there...someday

Thank you. It's so eye-opening to hear the nuances of Korean culture and interpretation. The hate Namjoon gets is targeted and always whenever he pops up in popularity in the news. Someone like what MHJ does slanders him every time. They try to pull ARMY into complaining against him. There has been this boycott group that has been around for two years before this current war. They are like from another fandom or something organized. They followed HYBE's TH-cam Channel. After HYBE gave that first video to introduce HYBE acquisitions in the US and plans moving forward, this is when this group protested in twt unfollowed HYBE YT channel. I do think it was MHJ because this was about investors paying attention. Certain people just wanted to diminish HYBE's growth and dethrone Bang PD. Wait. Didn't MHJ say the same thing? YES! But MHJ hate toward BTS goes all the way back when she had people target and hate on them for wearing school uniforms when she made a school uniform concept for EXO. No one cared or paid attention to her until she floated that scandal of plagiarism and put her name ahead of EXO. Someone like that is pure filth. The darkest of hearts filled with greed and envy. Picking on RM was easy because he could not say what he really thought. But thanks to all that hate, a person like Namjoon used his own way to fight with music. He just took over the music world. Continues to do so. He should get album of the year. I love all of BTS, but I think we all treasure RM as someone so precious to preserve, encourage, nurture, follow, and watch him grow into a man of his own making. He really changes the industry and creates impact. One of the best poets of our time.

Also, this was an album exchange, so I think we are going to get Rm listening to Jimins new album also. It was a good chance to make this a part of both of theirs album promos 💜

15:55 I think the answer is in the title. This is an "album exchange," but we only have half of the conversation. There are two mystery events in Jimin's promo schedule, and I think one of them is MiniMoni talking about "Muse".
Like Jimin, RM has a high EQ--it's one of things that makes him a great songwriter and a great leader)--and they are very similar in their work ethic and outlook, based on what they've chosen to share with us over the years. RM says later in the video that Jimin "gets" him, perhaps in a way the other members don't (which doesn't lessen all those other connections, it's just different).
One of my favorite Vlives is one these two did while on tour (2018 I think, but didn't have time to track it down), where they talked about art, their trainee days and other topics (this the one where RM thought he spoiled the BTS World soundtrack 🤣). They basically forgot the camera was on, and we all got to eavesdrop on a fascinating conversation. They were mortified when they realized they'd been talking for nearly two hours, thinking that they'd bored everyone, and we were all telling them "keep going!" 😂

true BTS has grown so much artistically over such a short time. and still in some places like their menthality they still seem very young because they didn´t have time to really grow like that because they are with the same people all the time.
so having a fight with a friend or a breakup they don´t have all those things that helps you grow. even if they have some experience it is still limited. and RM even adressed this issue with kpop.
So seeing them being so honest with us is just amazing and they are so humble even efter wearing this big crown.

군대 문제는 진짜 한국아미라면 치를 떨죠. 방탄을 두고 방송사에서 여론조사를하고 지나가는 시민들을 붙잡고 인터뷰하고..
사실 저희 아들도 지금 군대에 있어요.
아들을 군대에 보내야하는 방탄을 모르는 주변 또래 부모들이 만나기만 하면 쌍심지를 켜면서 이야기하는데 진짜 그런 이야기들을 남준이가 들었다고 생각하면 가슴이 아픕니다.
한국에는 까방권(까임방지권)이라는 말이있어요.
연예계에서는 그게 군대갔다오면 생기는거죠^^
10년을 열심히 활동하고 kpop을 알린 공을 군면제로 싹 덮히기늘 원하지 않는 한국아미들이 엄청 많았어요.
방탄을 군대보내지 말자는 의견을 가진 국회의원이 아미들한테 방탄군면제에 대해서 언급말라는 항의 메일 엉청 받았다고 하더라구요.
실제 데뷔초 어려울때 1년에 360일이 스케줄인 타니들을 보고 업계에서 얘들은 군대가야지 쉬겠다하는 말들을 했다고 cj엔터에 다니는 친구가 이야기 했습니다.
그리고 남준이가 한 인터뷰에서 사람들은 슈가가 제일 어른스러울거라고 생각하시만 아이같은 면이 많고 실제로 지민이는 방송에서 보여지는 모습이 장난스럽고 순박하지만 가장 어른 아이같다고 한적이 있어요.
저는 가끔 달려라방탄을 보면서 지민이의 첫째같은 모습을 봅니다.
존님도 장성한 아이들이 있어서 아시겠지만 첫째 아이들이 갖는 특징적인 기질이 있잖아요. 남준이와 지민이가 장남이에요.(태형이도) 나머지는 막내고요. 뭔가 둘이 깊은 대화속에서 통하는 부분이 있을거라고 생각해요.

ㅋ 제 아들놈도 국방의 의무를 다하고 있답니다. 내년에나 나온다네요. 왜 가만히 최선을 다하는 애들 가지고 깽깽 거리는지 모르겠어요. 그저 남 잘 되는거 보기 싫어서가 아닐지. 우리나라에 영웅은 거의 없죠. 왕이 아니라면 이순신 장군 정도.... 그런데 이순신 장군님이 얼마나 모함을 당하고 괴롭힘을 당했는지 생각해보면 우리들이 바뀔때가 되지 않았나 합니다...

Regarding artists using their creativity to understand themselves and the world around them versus the rest of us...I want to believe it is a symbiotic relationship. The artists need people to receive what the artists have created out of their struggles and or experiences. People use art as a way to better understand living. For example, "Lost" was a literal release of what Namjoon was feeling. For me, "Lost" was knowing that I was not alone feeling that way. As always, I enjoy your reactions!
That is such a good point. We do get a lot of help from arts. We can empathize and get Emotional support from things like music. Thank you for a great point

Thank you. I loved watching and experiencing this with you. I got so much more out of it. I think RM and Jimin would be very pleased at how their art and their discussion engaged you to think about what they talked about and join in the conversation. It was lovely and made me smile. ps. I think RM deliberately chose Jimin. He’s talked about how he and Jimin have deep discussions in the past. I don’t think he wanted to get technical points on the songs, he wanted to have a conversation about the meaning, the emotions, with someone who would get it. To me, Jimin seems very empathetic. He listens carefully and lets the other person be heard, while injecting key points as little tidbits here and there. He’s really smart, and funny as well. I admire RM greatly, this album is a masterpiece, and I admire Jimin greatly as well.
