I haven't played call of duty since Cold war. I just bought Black ops 6 today and found out that I was permanently banned. I logged into my Activision account and I see some random steam account linked. I just put in a ticket but I'm going to lose my shit if they don't unban me. I just bought this game today

I don’t know if your still having this issue but for the last 2 months I had the same problem. Someone linked their steam account to my activision account and got me permanently banned. I tried to appeal it but they denied it, I tried sending support tickets and they said they couldn’t help, and I even complained through the BBB with no luck. Today I tried hacked account recovery on the activision web site and there is an option that says “someone linked an unknown account to my activision account”. I clicked it and typed information on what happened along with the date the unknown person linked their account and immediately I got unbanned. Activision support is absolutely pathetic for the amount of people they have playing their game and I wasted 2 months trying to contact them for help. I would recommend trying that if you have not and I hope you get this resolved.

@mikeyd19841 you have to go to activision website, login and file a report that your account was hacked. Activision will remove the steam account and reset your password. Set up 2fa

I have no clue how to cheat I just play the game I appealed they said I’m not about to get it reserved. I’m not sure what to do.

Yeah I found out my account has been hacked, was linked to steam. They changed my name, clan and my level was different. Every game I went in to a game it was hacked so reported them all. I don’t get it what’s the point in hacking?! I still managed to get in to my account though changed the password and put on two factor authentication.

Hadn’t played since ww2, downloaded BO6 and was met with the perma ban. Turns out my account was linked to back in March

were you using a vpn at the time? that will get you banned happened to me. Your not allowed to hide your identity using a vpn on activision servers.
