    Just an informal survey, but how many viewers really pay for an off site storage? If so, what's in it - clothes or furniture?

    • @littleleafy
      @littleleafy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      We had a storage unit for furniture and books while we we’re living at my moms house but now that we have bought our home, we no longer have a storage unit.

    • @agneslaufer9579

      Growing up in Poland some 30 years ago we never had any storage units just a little basement. We had basic stuff that people needed and there was no clutter. Now people in Poland are nouvelle riches and they have too much and it hurts bc they even throw out food . :(

      I had a storage unit when I was sent away for military training for months and was up in the air on my next living arrangements. Storage unit was cheaper than renting an apartment.

      Beckala67 ...embarrassed to say I do. Working and therefore living overseas as a minimalist (and I love it). Paying $140/mo. for storing my “stuff” back in the States. Think I’ll give everything away on my next trip home and save the money to buy what I need if/when I return to U.S. to live.

    I am a few months into "Breaking the Twitch" and living an intentional life. It is really a journey and not a destination. I am seeing the money flow in and the junk flow out. More important than the money is the peace in your life it gives you. Anthony is far better than me to explain this, but coming home from a long day at work to a neat and minimalistic home is the perfect way to end the work day, you can sit and relax or cook a meal or actually talk to you spouse . It is crazy how much that helps. Every piece of "Whatever" that leaves my house give me another piece of my life back!!! Thank You Anthony!!!!

    Just starting minimalism to improve my inner self. After being a stock market investor since the age of 16 I've been learned that life is all about stuff and that happiness is something you can 'HAVE', and today I'm starting to learn that nothing is less true. Happiness is a state of being, you can become happy, and clutter free, you can never OWN happiness. And people like you, man, are the reason I got interested by this state of being, I really hope this works out well and I am looking forward to seeing more videos of this kind. A big, big, BIG thank you!

    I think you just enjoy being able to tell you're a minimalist. Pretty much the new equivalent of "I'm a vegan" or "I'm a van-lifer"

      I couldn’t care less honestly. Minimalism is a great way to do more of what matters to you (remove what doesn’t matter to you to create the space for what does). But it doesn’t matter what you call it, or how you get there. Just a common way to refer to a mindset.

    Love all your videos. You and your partner seem to mesh well, my husband is a maximalist so it’s tough dealing with him! Lol

      Thanks so much, Tori. Amy gets tired of me every now and then but we tend to work together pretty darn well. After 11 years together, we might be starting to figure this thing out, haha!
