I think the difference between salvation works and faith with deeds is the same argument about going to heaven. Going to heaven is the lowest tier fruit for a Christian, its guaranteed. We have a mission to serve.
So I dont see how he is close to preaching that? I mean I haven't finished it yet but where?

I’m sober because I put my faith in God to give me that satisfaction of truly living a content life because of his Good works and His faithfulness. If you love Him you will do as he says. If you do not love him you wouldn’t care. You are saved by faith , but what is that faith going to produce ? Becoming more like Christ ? Because that’s what it means to love Him.
