One of the best written/acted/directed dramas this year/ever. This drama has so much more going on than this relationship, but without it I doubt I'd love it as much.

Another thing that's super subtle about their relationship is that Si Mok wouldn't allow anyone to touch him, if they did he shook them off quickly, however with Yeo Jim, she could grab him and he'd let her after awhile the more he trusted her. And same with him having contact with her, Si Mok usually never touched anyone else throughout the show except her 🤧🤧
U r right ❤️ when EunSoo came to his house he quickly sent her out but when YeoJin came with coffee he invited her in and have a chat, there's nothing sexually explicit in their relationship but the subtle trust i ❤️ it very much

Yeah he did say he doesnt trust eunsoo in that one ep I think .. With his personality I kinda get why he doesnt vibe with her ..
Hes engrossed with his job thats why even if yeojin was a bit aggressive on their first meeting she got his respect cause most of their early interactions are strictly professional .She does tease him but still gives him enough space , like how hes the one inviting her in in his place ... in contrast with most characters on the drama.

agree completely , he just looks at her hands whenever he is pulling him somewhere , but it’s so natural on yeo jins part that he just allows himself to be pulled ❤️ she is the only one who doesn’t walk on egg shells around him. That’s why when she says “crime is creating distrust amongst us” her saying “amongst us” makes him smile :)

These two lines just show how deep he trust her. He would suspect everyone, every person even though they are colleagues to him. But for her, he won't. And shall we talk about all the moments his face shows emotional expression? And the first time he smiled? During those moments, it was Han who was with him!
It's the small unsaid moments that really get you

I really love the moments when he was looking at her but she did not know. Also, when she was looking at him but he did not know.
What's really bizarre is that I've been begging for a Kdrama with a man and woman lead that does NOT have to be in a romantic relationship, and when I saw this I regretted it immediately. A true case of be careful what you wish for!
Their relationship and chemistry and quiet intimacy has got me SHOOK. The moment 1:32 of this video got me bREATHLESS BECAUSE FOR A MOMENT IT LOOKS LIKE THE POSITION HE'D BE IN IF HE WAS GETTING MARRIED TO HER, WAITING FOR HER TO WALK DOWN THE AISLE!!! IM DYING HELP.
I hope we get an S2 and that their relationship continues to be a slowburn that suffocates us all!
Update: i saw s2....wtf...um...hello??? Police??? It was disappointingly lacking, but i had to take the morsel when she cut her hair again and they had dinner sob!!!

I love the quiet intimacy between them. I love how they don't go all out with this yet they show subtle hints while keeping the focus on the crime plot.
I feel that Simok and Han are slowly falling for each other, but Eunsoo was the one who made him feel again.
What a gorgeous edit. I am halfway through the series and I absolutely adore these two. They have such a compelling chemistry.
I finished the series last week and I plan to watch it again. I just love Si-Mok and Yeo-Jin's chemistry. The acting is something special. There are a lot of great actors but these two are ten steps above the notch. Very talented duo; and yes, I really wanted them to hook up.

You captured the feeling perfectly...he went from emotional silence and monotony... to an innocent and pure chemistry with her....it sums these two up perfectly... i hope there is a season 2 of this drama...i want to see how he changes because of his relationship with her...it is like his time started again... i am so grateful that he met her

@@loonalu2411 Well it is a crime mystery drama.... people die... even someone somewhat important to the leads died ( spoiler).... However what makes it happy, is that we see that main lead starts to overcome his personal struggle after he meets the female lead.
From a child, he was considered a monster. First for violent tendencies, and after the operation for emotional disconnect / lack of empathy... a supposed side effect of the operation. As he interacts with the female lead on these cases, she shows him that he is not a monster. He has feelings but they are more deeply hidden than most. In the end, we see him taking the female lead's advice, where he practices to smile a little every day.
It reminds me of my childhood, sometimes we meet people who change our lives and pull us out of our shells... and sometimes we meet people that pull us out of our pain...
I just finished this drama and Im speechless... it was perfect ... I love their relationship so much because we can see that they trust each other. She is the only women( and human being ) with who he is comfortable and share things. For me even if they dont say to each other " I love you" or " lets date" , they have already a special relationship. Of course I would dream to see them get married and have little children XD but it would not suit the drama style.

Oh my gosh I'm so happy I found this. I recently finished watching the series on Netflix and I don't know what to do with my emotions for this couple. This is literally one of the best written and acted shows on tv now and their subtle sophisticated relationship is a huge part of how wonderful it is. I want them to be together forever.

I am so utterly in love with this drama. Im at ep15 and I am just speechless because I love how all the characters were created and the storyline is so GOOD?! I found myself guessing and guessing and guessing who might be the culprit and I was so wrong everytime ahah. Near the end you finally catch up on whats going on but I swear the first 10 eps I had no clue. Fuck I love it so much. And those two :')) I love how you portrayed their relationship. I feel like even if its clear there is no romance going on in this drama... their partnership is so damn special. It literally warms my heart to see how much she cares for si mok ... when she asked again "how is your head", "you can tell me. I can drive you to the hospital"... I dont know how to describe it but ... ITS THE BEST. I love them so much. And your edit just has the perfect vibe ... that comfy background music... Its just exactly what I feel when I see them around each other :D I think those two belong to my favourite characters someone thought of for a drama/movie EVER!

I don't know if it's because it's in a foreign language, but as soon as i started watching this show.. i couldn't do anything else for 8 hours, Not even video games..could distract me from this show, it's awesome.. as far as cop dramas go.

I was hoping to see more scene of them in S2 but it was less than S1 but that scene is special as always how much they trust each other there's a fight between police Vs prosecutor but they were different they protect each other, share information with each other which is very confidential care for each other ... I can't describe they're friendship based on trust trust and only trust she is the only person who can comfort, si-mok, make him smile ,make him comfortable around people , only person with whom he drinks nd eat😅 otherwise whenever he tried to eat someone call him nd he have run away without eating 😂
Being absentminded give him strength in his job, In an attempt to control, Eun-soo also tried giving him emotions so that she could manipulate him. I am glad Yeo-Jin succeeded and Eun-Soo failed.
Thats bcoz simok isn't foolish... Eun-soo's intentions were sincere, she was selfish n manipulative but Yeo-jin was selfless n someone who would even risk her life doing her duty..I was so thankful that he didn't fall for Eun-soo n she end up dying.
Eun soo's main goal was to get "revenge" for what had happened to her father. She wasn't a bad person, but her lust for revenge, was what killed her in the end. Eun-soo admired Shi-mok, although just like every main character in the show, she tried to manipulate others.
Eun soo is a flawed character but I liked her for her courage and the fact she was only one of the few people in the prosecutor office who initially saw simuk as he really was and in stead of writing him off as weird or worse, admired him because of his strength in character. Simok was not oblivious to her feelings, and was fond of her in his own way. He himself didn’t know how much before she died a horrible death. The sweater scene - when he noticed it later how she had taken time to wash it and pack it for him, it was so touching. She was one of the people who made simok realize he was not as emotionless as he thought himself to be. Eun soo was blinded by revenge but I felt sorry for her in her helpless longing for simok.
Your mv made me even more want to try this outstanding drama. Not only Is This relationship likeable but also for This murder cases, the suspense, the acting, the script etc. What I also could relate to is the world of adulte and the workplace mind, it was thoroughly depicted. This is one first drama of the year That make me question every caracter and There are so many suspects. I'm still at ep 6, no spoiler, thank You.
