That was a straight up loan shark deal lmao this is what it boiled down to. "I will loan you 150k, and in return you will give me 5% of your company and pay back an extra 300k on top of what you owe" doesn't sound very good when you actually think about it lmao

I love Shark Tank but the thing I absolutely hate about the US version is "If you don't take my offer right now I'm out", "If you hear anyone else's offer I'm gone". In Dragons Den, Shark Tank AU they just go "Sure, mate". By pressuring someone into taking a deal immediately all you do is start off on the wrong foot with who you invested in

I usually use a foam roller for stretching but when my leg was sore I tried a regular massage ball and it worked wonders. This one's a bit pricy but for people who work out often it could be really helpful.

The way Mark is always saying "take my offer NOW or I'm out" before even letting the other sharks have their say is just so obnoxiously selfish and downright unprofessional.
They should've countered - that's what he wants to get out of people that he does that to. A counter opens up the floor, keeps the conversation moving when it needs to move along, and gives the other sharks an opportunity to hear the counter. So it's typically a win/win for everyone involved if they counter, but if they don't he bounces because he doesn't need the money. That also let's him know that they aren't on top of their numbers, plus it gets people to take the time out to talk about him and comment about it on TH-cam.
Mark always has to show his power and force them to accept his offer right then and there 😂😂

For the first time, Kevin's deal is miles better than what the participants asked for (Lori coiped the same)
Buck a ball until 500k means they have to sell 500k units, if they can scale this to at least 100k units a year (which is huge compared to what they're now) that already puts them in multi million dollar evaluation. Saving 5% equity at that stage is life changing.
I'm glad they chose Lori because of added QVC commercial capabilities.

The whole "don't waste my time entertaining other offers" is so idiotic. It's not like Mark walked out and did something else after he went out. Probably the number one piece of advice I would give an entrepreneur would be to pass on any offer that they have to accept immediately regardless of whether there are still other sharks still in. Actually, that's good advice for any situation- if someone is pressuring you to make a quick decision without weighing all your options, pass on whatever the deal is. That person is likely trying to take advantage of you.

Anyone who wont allow any other deal to even be heard before their deal (in this case a crappy deal) is accepted or not ... is playing an ego game. It doesnt have anything to do with the entrepreneur, or the product ... its all about himself, which to a point is natural for a shark, but to this level is just slimy.
