Moved to san Diego from Boston in 1997 with a few buddies. Our first few weeks were spent at a Chula Vista Marina. Cant remember the name but it was an RV Resort. We drank and played whiffle ball all day at the volley ball court that overlooked the ocean etc... So beautiful !! After a few weeks of partying in Chula Vista we settled in Oceanside up in the North County of San Diego. Stayed there for 3 years. San Diego is the best !! Whether its 1973 or 93 or 2007 or 2020. San Diego is the best

Sounds like you had some good times. The RV park is still there. It's on J Street. That's where the power plant used to be.

I grew up in west chula vista from 85-03 and in other parts of San Diego after that. Its a paradise here and its beautiful. I love my home town but democrats are on a mission to ruin it fast. The American dream is pretty much gone here in California especially in its major cities.

Wow, Chula Vista and Otay Town sure did lots of rebuilding since The Great Flood of 1916.

The Fry's have lived on the corner of Hilltop & "H" street since my parents built the house in 1956. My Grandfather built the house at 266 Whitney, as well as the house on the corner of Naples & Del Mar. This era will come to an end soon as we are selling 505 Hilltop and moving away. I'm proud of being a second-generation ChulaVistan, sad to have to leave the area.

I recognize Albany and the power plant which is still there. I grew up in Main Street and Mace and on the corner was Jack's Trading Post. It's a gas station now. The footage around 13:00 looks like Zenith St. I also saw Max Field, great memories there.

I recognize that canyon behind the dam at Otay lake at the 7:00 minute mark because I've hiked around back there. We used to go see bats that would fly out at dusk. Wow!
