I’m 17. Just a year ago I attempted suicide twice. I did them on whim because I was in so much pain mentally and physically. I’ve tried holding on, I’ve tried self-reflection, I’ve fucking tried just having hope the future would be different. I’m sick of people telling me “Keep pushing, keep trying, it’ll work out”-it’s fucking agitating. I get why they would tell me that, I’ve really do, but I’m tired of people recommending shit to me like I HAVENT tried it. When I tell them I’ve tried, somehow it registers to them that I’m not trying as hard as I could or hard enough. I’m the understanding kind of person so I get why people say and do things even if it seems like I don’t. But it’s that same understanding nature that’s led to me suffering. I’m always putting how everyone feels above my own so I don’t feel so selfish. I like considering how everyone feels and making decisions based on what can work for everyone. In this case, I don’t want to commit suicide because I know I am gonna hurt people by doing it…but then what else? I keep suffering. An after a while, they think your fine so they forget about it like it’s nothing. So I set a date. I’m really giving life an honest chance to improve and give myself time. But if it doesn’t by that date…well, at least I tried and at this point I don’t give a fuck who think I didn’t.
