    Hi Ankur,
    Thank you sharing this information.
    If we are using Data stich for assigning the value to variable then we have Assign action which is also doing the same. Then what is difference between both.

      Hi Nagaraj,
      Data stitch allows you to assign the complex assigments also as shown in the video.
      Regards,
      Ankur

    Thanks Ankur, Very good informative vedio. I have a doubt.
    Could you give a summary about this integration ,
    Because I have a confusion. GetData REST service get some data and return the JSON payload(firstName and lastName). But in the next readFile (FTP Adapter)you are reading a file called abc.csv.
    Then what is the GetData Rest service giving to the readFile ? what is the use of mapping file-name template variable to readFile, because you are reading abc.csv

    What is the best practice to create global variable not only in one scope of integration but also for all integrations, connections, etc....? thanks

      You can't create the global variables for all the integrations.
      What you can do, you can create a Lookup, and use that lookup in the multiple integrations.

    Hi Ankur,
    I have stiched payload and send it to target inside a loop.After sending the stitched payload, my loop start again and wanted to create fresh stitch with new set of values and invoke target with new set of values only.
    But when stitching starts again, old set of values also getting stitched along with the new stitched value. How we can null previous values as well as element so we can invoke target again with new stitched value only ?

      Use Assign instead of Append.

    Hello Ankur,
    why did you remove your course from Udemy?
    And I have taken your course like an Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) from Udemy.

      Due to some issues Udemy has unlisted all my courses. I have uploaded my courses on other platform. You can view the details on below link:

      Hi Ash,
      Click on name initial from top right corner from the OIC home page, click About and see all the feature flag under Feature flag section.

    Hi Ankur, why aren't Global variables seen in assign operations

    • @TechSupper
      @TechSupper  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Use Data Stitch option to assign global variables. Assign activity is limited for local variables.

    This is a simple example, but how to use stitch for complex collections? For example..
    Incoming REST payload:
    {
    "data" : [ {
    "username" : "USER1"
    }, {
    "username" : "USER2"
    }, {
    "username" : "USER3"
    } ]
    }
    .. for each user in the payload, do some check in an external system for whether account is disabled or not. Return collection back like this:
    {
    "data" : {
    "userDetail" : [ {
    "username" : "user1",
    "isDisabled" : "false"
    }, {
    "username" : "user2",
    "isDisabled" : "true"
    } ]
    }
    }
    Any idea?

      I haven't tried this, you can use append option to append the data.
