Thanks Dave was just looking at this tool on Amazon and good seeing your positive review. Will this work on my copper plumbing pipes? Also I see is stainless mentioned but I need for copper restoring basement in an old historic home and copper is begging for polish and a lot of it being that it’s boiler radiator heat with heated flooring.. have tried by hand and results are amazing just takes forever looking for a speedier solution. Thanks and your shop is on my wish list… later
The key there will be in your belt choice. Copper is very soft so you'd want to run the machine at low speed and use a belt with a low level abrasive. I was using the blue (fine grit) belt in the video but for copper I'd go with the gray (ultra fine) or white (delicate) if you can find it. Empire Abrasives has gray. Maybe shoot them a message about what they recommend for copper.
Ok ordered the sander will be in touch with Empire in the morning. will share some project pics and keep you posted on progress. I will say the before/after is gonna be amazing!
Awesome video, I've been looking for something like this for a while. Could you please let me know where exactly you purchased this from but all that I have found don't come with the angled motor. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Thanks for the review, they're like 130 on sale (ebay) right now. Still 160ish on Amazon. Glad there are some good belts out there.

David could you try it on 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe to remove the print?
Use a little brake cleaner on a rag, works great
