It would be also interesting if the trooper join the empire. How ironic since after taking down all of the original havoc squad that defected back then that you also do the same thing

Feels wierd having Valkorion's voice actor back as another character.
The guy's a good actor, you can't not give him a job after all he's kind of contributed for this game.
I'm not saying he's bad, just he could have altered his voice a bit, not to sound exactly like the main bad guy of the game.

I bet we didn't get that because of how insignificant he became after Iokath, Theron's death, and he was easily replaced in the Grand Army of Republic.
@@shadowwriter4538 actually he wasnt easily replaced. If you read the state of the galaxy blog post they say if hes still alive then he and the new chancellor manage to get enough support to build up a strong defensive military. If he dies then it says the new chancellor struggles to appoint a new supreme commander and the republic military suffers in budget cuts because of the uncertainty. Kinda makes a big difference in the size and power of the overall republic actually.
@@Penguin-lc3eg I wish he could've survived my sniper's Iokath run because the republic (and Theron) would be in a better place for it, but logically I couldn't openly oppose or break ties with Acina at that juncture. It'd send the wrong message to my own forces and leave my cover on shaky ground.

Am I the only one that has noticed that the droid at 2:24 is the same one from the Black Talon flashpoint it just looks a little bit different.

I do wonder why they gave him a different droid model instead of the one he he had on The Black Talon

My only issue in going to the Double agent route is that normally that never ends well to said agent, I can imagine the Empire turning their backs as they always do leaving the traitor to burn alone as they will not be Sith, and not Jedi anymore.
By the way, I just find it strange that "riots on Quesh" is mentioned specifically by Lana. That planet just has a harsh environment and important resources, why having riots there matters in the political sphere?
The second half of your statement is why; Quesh Venom is an ingredient to make extremely powerful combat adrenals, and if there are riots on Quesh the balance may be tipped from the Hutt Cartel to the Republic or Empire respectively. With a world like Quesh suffering riots, caused by labor laws or otherwise, that makes it into a literal and political battleground.

Perhaps the name drop is a subtle Easter egg for the next part of the expansion. Maybe you'll be sent to mediate or sway the riot results in a specific direction. Your side of the riot is based on their allegiances. The end result swings based on who you chose to support.
My logic is, during kotfe the sith came to help when the Republic sat back and watched.
I always side with them no matter what.

When I was looking up the actors, they weren't, but now I'm second guessing myself.
Imagine how funny it would be to make a pure light-side Jedi Consular and then join the Empire. Now that would be next level plot twist.

I doubt it. I feel like the empire will betray you to make you genuinely side with the republic and the republic will betray you (if you're playing sith siding with republic) to avoid faction switching
I played light side inquisitor becoming darth imperius in the end of chapter 3 so i would maintain the light side but staying with the empire. i guess i would be buddy buddy with malora.

i haven't played this game since KOTET, but i figured i'd keep up via your channel. Did anyone notice that the droids you meet is NR-02?! (the droid you meet in the very first imperial flashpoint/my favorite flashpoint ever)

it's quite fun I RPed my Jedi after Obi Wan a firm believer in the code i even modeled after him beard and all but as time even forward to Fallen Empire i started doing the older Luke and him realizing the failings of the Jedi and decides in order to become the savior the galaxy needs he can no longer become a Jedi.

Now that we'll probably see the return of Kira in Onslaught, do you think switching sides during JUS will have any effect at all to that reunion? I don't expect much but I'm also a little hesitant to go that route with my favorite Knight toon out of fear that it might lock me out of the whole thing entirely.

it wouldn't make sense to instantly get the same story as the other faction imo
but it also doesn't make sense to side with the empire then aid the republic

I wonder if they are ever going to add Tau Idair armor set into the game for characters, that would be cool.
However i think it would be automatically buggy like jedi battlelord's lower part of the robe and all other same looking sets where belt separates one part of the robe from the other, shame the are not fixing it for years now

If I am a Jedi and I join the empire in this dlc, am I now permanently part of the empire or just till this end of the dlc.
So the double agent is the only option? Once you chose republic or empire your lock in? That seems weak.
I was so furious you cannot switch sides and must play a double agent. Do not get me wrong, with Saresh corrupting the Republic it is little better than Empire but at least they do not jump to war crimes immediately. My Darth Imperius would never condone attacking a greatest library in the galaxy, even a ruined one , especially as it´s destruction is one of the greatest crimes of Sith in history. She spent her time building up Alliance of both Sith and Jedi so it makes no sense for her to just go on attack. They should have given you the option to play in open support of the other galactic power along with double agent route.
Question when I switch sides is it permanent like I wont be apart of the empire anymore permanent
As much as I prefer the Empire, being a traitor as a Republic character still bothers me. Treason is so slimy.

The only time I have sided with The Republic is on my Male Togruta Smuggler. I only sided with them for Roleplaying reasons and the characters backstory.

SWTOR does not have as many players as it used to but after this expansion they seem to be doing alright. I have a feeling this game will last quite a while (especially if they keep releasing more content)

@@msutter117 half my swtor characters have no dongs since i outfit them in full cyborg armor. My sith inquisitor is basically a chest, head and half an arm on a metal chassis.

the jedi is returning to their ancient world called ossus which was a huge library and was destroyed by exar kun before the events of kotor 1 by 40 years.
The war between the Empire and Republic has been renewed, as commander of the Alliance you have to decide which section you side with. There is a shortage of resources and thus both sides are desperate for any advantage they can gain.

I stopped playing sometime after we defeated Valkorian, got bored by the game and decided to take a long break.
RandomUserName Leon I believe you mean Quinn, who is a Major, not a Moff, major difference in rank. And yes we did picks a side back then, but now we can once more choose and I believe this will be the definite choice but I’m not sure. (I must also say that after Iokath which in my opinion was a meh sort of expansion, Umbara and Chiss follow which were kinda bad, Nathema followed which was okay and with this expansion the story writing is slowly improving, hopefully going back to what it once was)

It's not that weird. I'm a woman and I tend to play as male characters in games as well, even when I have the option to play as a female. Sole exception to that rule so far was Commander Shepherd (Mass Effect).
