Madonna is amazing when you think about where she came from and what she's achieved and the life she's given to her own and her adopted children - she didn't have to adopt, she had her own, but she chose to give David and Mercy a life that they would never have known otherwise. I thank her for giving inspiration to people, I wish I could give it in the same way.

If people took into account Madonna's talent at songwriting, her true singing ability, her true dancing ability, and her impact on the pop music industry and culture, she would be THE most revered artist in history. Unfortunately, people want to knock her down and her controversies (much her "fault") overshadow the aforementioned. And just because she can't sing like Whitney or Celine, tey say she can't sing, despite some incredible vocal performances she's had over the decades. Sadder still, it probably won't be until she passes that people will truly appreciate who she was as an artist. Female pop artists would never had had the opportunities they've had if Madonna hadn't destroyed the walls that existed prior to her.
Her sharp mind and keen wit shone through in this interview (and in many other interviews). From what’s known about her, she’s well-read and knowledgeable on many subjects that interest her like the arts in its many forms (music, performing, cinema, theater, visual, etc.), spirituality/mysticism, poetry, history, novels/literature, and her life experience had all influenced her prolific songwriting and artistry. She radiates a beautiful charisma of a confident, highly intelligent and deeply cultured person. Her success, accomplishments, despite the backlash she’s taken and withered through, is amazing and remarkable.
This is back in 2008-09. YT was still growing at that time and still the birth stage of defining the new age of broadcasting. This woman gets it. Ironically, Livenation didn't capitalize on that idea that you could heavily promote yourself further through YT. Such a shame, she would've once again ruled another domain if they took her words into actions.
Part of the reason why Madonna sounds educated and well versed is that according to her, she rarely watched television as a child, but instead chose to read...and of course there was no smartphone in her growing up years to distract her from developing her intellect.
