That 90's anime noise filter is such a fantastic cherry on top
That 80-90s art style was so peak the trends in the 2000s were weird when people adapted digital but 2010s anime started to blow me away consistently
Perfect length videos, no garbage filler, great editing, and massive skill. Defintley subbing. Well done mate.
Ah Botan! She's wonderful!
You did such an amazing job man, massively impressed!
She looks absolutely amazing 😍
Nice job
I'm truly so impressed. Your topology in your models is always so optimized what what I can see and it really teaches me a lot just by watching a time-lapse! I used to not care about getting better at this stuff but I feel like your work inspired me to push to be my best artist I can now make fully optimized topology ( at least my optimized) and I think I have you to thank for that so thankyou! Also, I hope this video performed well, I hope your enjoying yourself and that this is renewable source of joy!!
(also I would love to see a Rika model from Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, may be a good time as the indigo disk recently came out and she has a small cameo and this is denfietlly not an excuse to request fictional crush, totally not, yea, its not...)
That is super sweet of you say! I'm so glad that I was able to inspire you to care about your work more. It's always very rewarding for me to see my final product and I hope that when others finish theirs, that they feel good about what they made too.
This workflow of making vertices like that from scratch is insane to me
Even Disney did not succeed to make Chip n dale in 3D ! You should give them a lesson J’adore tes vidéos ! Je suis fan ❤
i can stay here all day just watching theses beatifull model's
customizing the reference was so mindblowing!! i have NO idea how i didn't think i could just put those two and two together! it came out wonderfully ❤
Love the smooth edges, will definitely use your tutorial
just so you know. there is about 4 minutes of just black screen at the end of the video.
loved the timelaps though
Yeah we will go with that response. I like it better than a mistake lol
I've always wanted to try this and it's really cool what you can do with the toon shader look in Blender, Dillon goo has really pushed it to the next level but this was a great video!
Im interesting in the compositing you did to get that 90s anime feel. Would love a little breakdown of that in future!
She looks beautiful and nice. Like.
16:26: "There is a difference between you and me. We both looked into the abyss, but when it looked back at us, you blinked."
Yeah..... about that.... I don't really know how that got in there but it's fixed now.
@@BranSculpts it's most definitely a video thing. Seen it happen to some friends and almost happened to me once but caught it in time before hitting publish. It's all good! Glad you were able to fix it! 💝👍🏽
She turned out fantastic!
This one REALLY takes me back to the days of watching Yu Yu Hakusho on Toonami in the early-to-mid 2000s.
Very incredible model work!
I used to enjoy more the face sculpting process rather than the modeling one. Still Great Job, you never dissapoint!
really really amazing! i think once you went back and puffed out the sleeves more it really became botan, although it was still impressive before that, that's when it sold the 2d illusion for me yaknow?
Is there a tutorial for shading like that?
Just take a look into town shades and such. Dillon Goo has some good examples of what to aim for and Goo Engine is a pretty good toon fork of blender for it. What Bran is doing is essentially that mixed with texture painting the toon shading directly on the model or using different materials for shaded areas since he's sculpting it instead of animating it.
The basic idea is you make a material with no emission shadows and plug it into a constant color ramp. The topography can influence how shadows are cast with dynamic lighting so look at Guilty Gear stuff to get a feel for how it's supposed to look. Other than that, just look up toon shader tutorials. There's a good chunk.
Hope this helped!
His line sizes are consistent and sharp which really tie the edge shader and the textures to look like one ☝️
I know nothing about 3D modeling but this is amazing
Incredible job on this one!
That's insane 🤯
Как же радует, что про эту икону аниме не забывают 😍
"How glad it is that this anime icon is not forgotten" It's one of the classics!
This is so amazing!!
gonna copy that node setup. its mine now.
You choose everytime my favorites vidéos games music 😂
This is amazing
Impressive
That Model It Is So Perfect And Nice 🙂👍
Unreal as always, I love the background you did as well! Are there any relevant Blender Tutorials for that fuzzy paintbrush-esque grass you used?
Pretty cool.
16:29 not sure how much you care but there’s a lot of dead air at the end of this! Great work all around tho! Love seeing your progress!
this is awesome, could you possibly make a tutorial for your workflow? (also what are pc specs?)
I put out a full real time video of my Launch model on my gumroad. That might be able to help you see my work flow. And I also post all of my computer specs in my descriptions of my videos.
As someone that can draw I'm low key jealous I can't do this! Making 3D models would be very beneficial if you are drawing comics
You can learn it! I use to make a web comic and wanted to try my hand at 3d and chose Blender for my program. It just takes a little time and abunch of tutorials, but you got this!
@@BranSculpts Thanks I am currently gathering a lot of information and watching tutorials on how to do this. I just wonder how models like yours would look like in motion with limited frames, grease pencil and motion blur, combined with animated backgrounds, it should look in theory just like hand drawn anime.
woooow!
amazing, man!
I can't wait for your next tutorial series, your one with Zelda helped me so much! Do you mind spoiling to me what character the tutorial will be on next time? ^
I'm happy it helped you. I am going to do another tutorial but I'm not even sure what the character will be. Sorry.
It's real good
You looked into the abyss and you blinked Bran
Hey man, love your stuff and from the comments i read you really seem to know your thing. I guess i was wondering if you could point me towards how to learn blender and bow to go about learning it for someone new to get results a bit faster and not get stuck on tutorial hell. Anyway keep up the amazing work man!
I've got a tutorial series on my channel you could try your hand at. But as long as you keep practicing and you should be able to pick it up easy. Making models in blender is a lot of the same thing over and over again. So once you get the basics of it, you can add just about anything you want to it.
@@BranSculpts alright, makes sense, I’ll check it out thanks for the reply.
Also are you open to answering questions about the program in the comments? I’m guessing a lot would go over my head the first few times if i try them out.
But again, thanks and keep up the great job here.
you're solidddddd
It's great!!! it's beautiful!!! I have a question, to model the 3/4 view, do you use the camera? or do you just move your view?
Wow, didnt even tell me about this one T.T
You didn't even tell me about the black void at the end. I'm keeping all my secrets to myself from now on.
i wonder when brans gonna sculpt his own characters? :D
nice job, what method did you use for the outlines ?
Me trying to make the best anime eyes to my modela
Also this guy just making a white hole end adding some pupils 🥲
holy shit that is such a unique way of modeling. do you have a tutorial of something like this?
Bran thank you for the tutorials you provide, can I ask please is there any chance of sharing the project files?
I share my work at nasakii.gumroad.com but I did not add this one. But I do have some of my other projects on there.
Awesome stuff tho the 5 minutes of black at the end I don't think was intentional lol
😎👍
do lum next, but the 2023 version :D
Bran, can you tell me How much it will cost to make a custom character that I can use in blender and as a vr avatar from you or other artists, please..
10 часов в 16 минутах
Can you make the next character from the Winx Club cartoon? it would be fun, I'll take a look at the stages of creation in advance with❤❤❤
Would you consider release the non speed up video on gumroad or something? (paid is fine)
I've thought about putting some on gumroad but the videos would be hours long, like 10 or more.
@@BranSculpts that's fine, a lot of 3d artist post non sped up vid on gumroad, like 30 hr long where they chop up to several parts.
@@BranSculpts That'd actually be super amazing. I love seeing the process at a normal sped as the sped up version is too difficult to see the little intricacies that make your results so good. I think the head is the most difficult part of the process for me, seeing that at a slower speed would be awesome.
Dope, do you have a sketchfab acc?
Where did the lines come from? There's like 10 seconds of line wiggling and fast paced menuing, and then suddenly, the lines are just where they're supposed to be. How? What?
where i can take the references, like yours?
But what about Wumpo Botan?
Anyone could tell me a tutorial about this line art method, please? It doesn't look like the solidify method. I'll apreciate!
Nice work btw
What application did you do this with?
is there a tutorial on how to model a face like that
It almost seems easy
I was hoping for a voice over ngl
I wasn't feeling talky but I wanted you guys to see what I was working on.
Sir how to join outline with rig ?
Please full tutorial sir
I can’t understand how you make a model without sculpting
Why doesn’t anyone convert their sketches to blue lines. It would make it so much easier to sketch, and the video would be better because we could actually see what is being traced
Hola Bran sculpts podrías modelar mi avatar para mí canal de TH-cam
"Hello Bran sculpts, could you model my avatar for my TH-cam channel?"
I don't do commission work. Sorry.
ุิี
She doesn't look like botan though. Not up to Bran's usual quality. Something is just off, not sure what it is.
Not only are you skilled in blender your taste in 90s anime is impeccable
Thank you so much! It's what I grew up on.
Bingo Bingo!
