My guess is that she put up her cancer awareness post before she even went to the breast clinic. He had been following her for ages, guessed which clinic she would be referred to based on where she worked, and went to sit in the waiting room every day until she turned up. So his mum doesn't have cancer at all it was just his excuse for being there

He probably realised that Justin's situation is most likely what's causing him to believe that Daisy is interested in him (no excuse for his creepy behaviour especially with how many times the poor girl made it clear she isn't) but they were right to report him because despite his job he shouldn't keep harassing her.

While I agree that Justin is unhinged I think he was telling the truth about his mum dying of cancer since he was at the hospital before he met Daisy. Daniel can relate to Justin's situation because Sinead died of cancer. While Justin is too delusional for that talk to be effective it was kind of Daniel to try to reason with him. People with erotomania don't know that what they are doing is wrong though so sadly it is a losing battle.
Daniel, really does make stupid decisions sometimes. U can clearly see, your fiancé is having a hard time, terrified, yet your having a conversation with the guy, who legit stalking her,. Anything to do with, cancer, death, mothers, or parents, he falls weak at the knees. It’s like man up, and protect your girl.
