    I just bought the lift. I use a non-vertical MX at work and it gets annoying how much I have to charge it. I also have tiny hands so I'm happy I made the right choice with the lift. Thank you for this video.

    I used the Anker Vertical for 9 years before it finally gave up. When I ordered it again, they had changed the model to a sucky, cheap version.
    I tried the MX Vertical, but it was way too large (and high) for my average hands. The click sounds were also obnoxiously loud. I'll be ordering the Lift now.

    • @Eurotool
      @Eurotool 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Update: the Lift was TERRIBLE. The scroll wheel is located at the base of your middle finger instead of the tip. If you're a middle click user, this mouse is outrageous. Worse than the MX Vertical.

    • @EverythingPractical
      @EverythingPractical  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Eurotool not for me.. the scroll wheel is perfectly placed at the last knuckle of my middle finger. If you hold the mouse in the palm of your hand, maybe (for me then it is at the middle knuckle), but that's not how you should hold/use it...

    Helpful review but could you add in your hand size for reference? Logitech uses “if your hand is 3 credit cards top to bottom or under in length then you have small or medium” and anything 3.5 cards and above the vertical fits best.

    the size of the MX vertical is absolutely perfect in my hand. The Lift is far too small for me. I haven't bought one of either yet, i intend to use it for gaming but not settled yet on weather it's worth the price.

    • @EverythingPractical
      @EverythingPractical  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, the scroll wheel clicks are defined enough for decent control in 3D work. I use it to navigate around some layouts myself without any issues. Depending on the work you're doing, maybe also consider the 3D connection Space mouse too. I've never used it but hear it's really awesome.

    Ok, nice review, I just have to mention 2 nitpicks:
    1. Shouldn't it be "mice" instead of "mouses"? If not, sorry, I'm not a native English speaker.
    2. With Logitech mice - or maybe all mice in general to be future proof - it's good to mention if it has Infiniscroll or not. Logitech has a patent on their scroll button - you can switch it to either scroll step-by-step like all other mice or let it scroll infinitely until you stop it. Really useful for long documents.

    Hey! thanks for this video comparison, I'm actually considering getting one of those. BTW, I noticed that you still have the Samsung monitor and I just watched the video you did 1 year ago comparing this one vs the Dell... I just got the Samsung as well, I want to ask you, how has it performed after this time? any issues? defects or something that makes me cancel my order?? hehe Thanks a lot!!

    • @EverythingPractical
      @EverythingPractical  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment!
      I would recommend the vertical mouse, pretty great.
      For the monitor, I still like the monitor, but I dont love it - only because OLED monitors are coming!
      I plan to switch to an OLED monitor myself when the prices come down a little, hopefully by mid 2023 - also when there are a few models out to see what features best suit me. Right now there are 2 from Dell out and I'm not 100% satisfied-but the Samsung OLED G8 might win me over that comes by the very end of 2022.
      But if you are going for a 34" model now, I still recommend the Samsung that I have. I dont have any issues, except I love OLED 😉 but OLEDs are at least twice as expensive at the moment. The only annoying part of the monitor is the input selection. The monitor does this automatically by scanning for input sources - sometimes it takes some seconds, when it would be nice to manually select it. If you're only dealing with 1 input, you won't notice.
      Otherwise, yeah, I'm still very happy with it.
      I hope this helps!

    Hi, thanks for sharing this review.
    I'm going to order one of these, and I'm having a hard time deciding which one to choose (there's no place near me where I can try them).
    Logitech is a bit vague in their recommendations, they say that Lift is fine for small and medium-sized hands, and MX is good for medium and large. The length of my hand from wrist to fingertips is a bit greater than 18.5 cm, so it's near the upper border of medium size, hence both Lift and MX kind of suitable.
    Can you please clarify what would be in opinion a "large hand"? It seems like you've found that Lift mouse fits better into your hand. May I ask what is the length of your hand and width of the palm?
    Thanks

    • @EverythingPractical
      @EverythingPractical  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, we have about the same size hands, from wrist to fingertips, I have 18 cm. I would recommend the lift for you.
      For the MX, I think one needs more of a large to huge hands, rather than medium for it to be comfortable to use 🙃
