Nice build, and great tips. Mixing plastic and wood, seamlessly as you're doing is an interesting approach. I usually stick with one or the other. Thanks
Really great work👌🏻 What did you mean when you said 3d printed? Filament or a resin printer with liquid resin? What is more common in scale modeling and printing such fine detailed parts like windows, roof tiles,…, a resin printer or a filament printer?
Fantastic job and being able to print some great pieces, some questions about the size you used for the bottom of the house and for the roof the plastic bars that are 0.5, thanks. Jose
I did shorten the building compared to the original to better fit the diorama. The base of the building is 66 mm. by 155 mm. The roof slats are 1 x 4 mm. styrenestrips.
The printers are mostly just faster, especially for TH-cam. Almost everything that I design can be scratch built by hand. The biggest benefit of the printers is duplication. Also the printers have come down in price considerably and some maker spaces will let you use them to print.

I'm excited to see how it looks when it's painted! Thanks for watching.
Great job with the voice over. Clear and clean spoken. Makes the videos easy to watch.
Thanks! Ive been working to improve that so thanks for noticing 🤣
Wow, what a beautiful production.
congratulations
I'll follow your channel and the montages... big hug my friend.
Thanks so much!
Great looking building! A resin 3d printer really helps speed things along.
100% huge time saver!

Resin 100% better for scale models. much less prep work. but considerably more toxic to work with.

@@mattockmodels Thank you. a greeting
How do you make sure things are in scale with 1/35 ?
I calculate things I know like doors and windows, or I measure the kit I'm working off of. But at the end of the day it's half math half art.
I can not afford a resin printer but is there any place that does it for a fee ?
You could see if there's a local Makerspace that might have one in your community. Maybe a local high school as well.
What software do you use to create the three d printer stuff ?
Tinkercad and soildworks.
Are your STL files available anywhere? They are awesome 😎
Not yet but I'm working on a way to make them available. Stay tuned.
STL files for patreon customers?
That's not a bad idea
No fair using your 3D printer. Few of us have those. I learned from your scratch building work, but...

@@mattockmodels I understand, but it makes me so envious...
